Thanks so much. Updating my driver with standard keyboard worked. I really appreciate your clear instructions and good English pronunciation and you spoke slowly. So it was the first option. I have an automatic driver update software that I pay for but it did not correct the problem or prevent the problem. So thanks again. I was so stressed when I could not use my keyboard. Your KZbin video assumes the Windows driver is the problem. But my Lenovo ThinkPad T490s' keyboard is malfunction . The letters of B, N, M, and arrow keys are not working. The computer will be locked up once any one of these keys is touched. I have updated the BIOS to 1.80 and embedded controller to 1.21. The BIOS has been set back to default settings. I have updated to the latest windows driver and I have tried three different keyboards to no avail. Windows 10 or Ubuntu 22.04 Linux makes no difference. So this is not a driver issue at all. Any thoughts?

if any of you guys have this kind of problem, just remove the battery and once it removed place it back, your keyboard will be working now.
