Great video! Another PROs for this laptop is the built in MUX Switch which allows you to disable Optimus ( It will divert all the power to the dedicated GPU instead of sharing with the Integrated GPU which will in turn produce more FPS in games ) which is something you rarely find on a laptop within this price range. As to why they chose to only have either an HDD or an M.2 and not both, I believe it's because it would generate too much heat if allowed to have both installed and since this is a gaming laptop, adding another heat source is the last thing you would like to do at that point 😁 Cheers!

@@1rmello930 why is amd better? If we don't care much about battery life (where amd rocks, but not significantly), there is nothing better over intel. Intel has thunderbolt, requires standard from every other component so u never get for example crappy internet (or wifi) card or BT, got better software, has higher power limits (better game performance) and what I have seen, also better temps. Seen quite many benchmarks where ryzen got 90 degrees even on Legion :O Lenovo will prob. keep ryzen, but there is alder lake coming so there won't be much space for ryzen I guess. I have already seen some preorder Legion configurations and there were no amd cpus. Intel is basically a surety that everything will be ok in a laptop.

Sir Kwan. Kaya po around an inch away yung hinges sa corner ng laptop, is to maximize the cooling by having 4 exhaust vents for more heat dissipation, and to lessen the obstructions on the sides of the laptop by putting the rest of the ports on the back. About the storage... Yes. It is somewhat a con, but hey. Doing a 2 nvme storage will also give you an opportunity to upgrade the battery from 60wh to 80wh.👌🙂. The best variants to choose in the 2020 legion lineups are the 1660ti and 2060 with a Ryzen chip.🙂♥️♥️♥️ P.s. "Avoid the 120hz option. It only gives 250 nit peak brightness and a mediocre color gamut and response times." 😔 Sure hope this helps. 🙂👌

1. I think the hinge location/design is necessary to accommodate the rear ports and provides more exhaust vents for optimal thermal management. 2. Incorrect description of some of the ports 3. activating a reset button with a sewing needle (complete with a thread in its eye) made me cringe 😁. The "Novo Button" on the Legion 5 series is not a reset button per se but instead allows access to UEFI/BIOS, Boot Menu and OS Startup Options. 4. upgrading to 32GB RAM is not an overkill especially when editing 4K footage...assuming there are no other overriding bottleneck factors in the system (CPU, GPU, chipset limitation, storage device, etc). Merely adding another 8GB to that already existing factory 8GB is not advisable. Ideally, the modules should be the same manufacturer/model/specs), hence true dual-channel RAMs are sold as kits 5. perhaps thermal efficiency consideration is the reason why the M.2 and the 2.5" SSD/HDD slots are located on the same spot in the Legion 5. It does not make sense to still use SATA III (M.2 or 2.5" SSD let alone a spinner) as boot and primary storage drives when the M.2 NVMe ones are around 6x faster (Gen 3x4) and competitively priced nowadays not to mention its desirable form factor. The SATA ribbon cable can be detached from the motherboard if opting to do away with the 2.5" cage or mount 6. upgrading to an 80Wh battery is worthwhile as the stock 60Wh one is inadequate.

Honestly, recently i just bought a mid gaming laptop, MSI gf63 gtx 1650ti max q, 240ssd, 1tb hdd and 8gb ram. I noticed lang sa lahat ng mid gaming pareparehas lang sila ng graphics quality lalo na when you're using it in gaming. Don't expect too much sa high end performance sa games kahit pricy and range will cost 40k to 70k and besides madali rin mag init kaya better to have cooling fan. Like sir kwan said okay sa sa jobs apps. Do your research first before buying a laptop.

Kaya po ganyan appearance niya at di nakasagad yung hinge, to accomodate those ports and for better cooling since mataas ang tdp ng gpu na nilagay ng lenovo for better performance hence kailangan ng better cooling which is yan yung solution. Good looking laptop, sana all may pambili hahaha
