I bought a Lenovo LOQ 15irx9 laptop in August and it had a dead motherboard problem. I took it to the official Lenovo service center in Azerbaijan and some parts were replaced. There are no screws on the back. Will this affect the warranty?

I purchased a LOQ on 08/05/2024. Just five days after the purchase, I discovered that one of the RAM slots was not working. I took the laptop to the service center, and after 18 days of repairs, I received it back on the 4th of June with a replaced motherboard and RAM. However, after using the laptop for a day, I found that the camera was not working. On 08/06/2024, I submitted the laptop for repairs again. Later, the service center suggested doing a DOA (Dead on Arrival), and the shop where I purchased the laptop gave me the option of replacing the laptop but not providing a refund. After many calls with customer care and numerous tweets on the Lenovo page, I finally got a new laptop. I chose the LOQ with a Ryzen 7, and it has been running well so far. Specs of the first laptop: 14th Generation Intel Core i7-14700HX Processor 16 GB DDR5-5600 (expanded to 32 GB) 1 TB SSD PCIe (expanded to 2 TB) NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB

AUR PRBLM AANE PR LENOVO 230W KA CHARGER PROVIDE KR RHA HAI (AGR ALREADY 230 KA HAI TO USKE JYA WATT WALA) jis charger kii price hii around 8-9k hai. Aur kaisi service chhaiye bhai!. Ye laptop amazon aur flipkart mai nestselling chl rha hai , issi month mai sale mai around amazon pe 1000 pieces sell huye hai wo bhi ITNI REPUTATION GIRNE KE BAAD BHI. Dekho jine sach me ye laptop lena hai , Mobo issues agar aa rhe hai to wo warranty mai cover ho rha hai. And 2024 series me hx wale processers hai jinka base power around 50w+ rehta hai toh power consumption bhi hai thoda higher pr agar same series mai h wala processor laye aur performance compare kre toh definitely hx better hai, pr heat produce jyada hoti hai , but loq walo ne 2024 model me thermals bhot badiya provide kiye hai , toh heating issue as such kuch nhi hai. Aur jo bande asus tuf aur loq mai confuse haibtoh unko batadu tuf amd ryzen wale jo pcs hai unme 48w ki battery hai ko kii bhot ghatiya hai (also unme igpu nhi hai , toh aur ma# ch#d jaegi)as compared to 60wh, aur intel f wale series hai jinne 90wh battery hai wo badhiya hai in battery than loq but unka display hai 45 ntsc , 62 srgb and loq mai hai 100%srgb to agar maroon colour hai toh loq mai maroon hi dikhega but tuf mai shayad alag dike so battery tuf ki achhi hai around 1 ghate se but display tatti hai and also some models mai ddr4 hai and loq mai ddr5 ram hai. So conclusion yehi hai kii display tatti chalega (laptop ka main component displayhii hota hai ) aur same specs 8-9k jyada de skte hontoh tuf ke liye jaon. Aur loq lena hai toh extended warranty lo. Acer , msi , colourful, avoid hii kro in sbse toh bekar hii hai ye. Rhi baat victus kii toh victus mai same price mai wo log 250 nits De rhe hai loq 300 de rha hai, with 100%srgb, Victus ddr4 ram de rha hai loq ddr5 +point , Victus minimal processor hii de rha hai i mean not i512500h but i512450h , to hx usse baddhiya hai. Also victus ka price high hai same specs with low processor. Loq pe heavy discount aarahe hai abhi . Bass bhai agr koi idhar tak aaya hai toh batau kii ye mera 1 month ka laptop searching experience hai and mai sab kuch pros cons dekhne ke baad loq hi le rha hu. Also i am cs engineering undergrad. Aur warranty extend nhi kiya hai abtk toh wo bhi krunga , to agle 3 saal koi problem nhi aayga (directly :)) , Baaki laptop toh max 3-4 saal tk hii thik chlta hai toh utni toh warranty hi de rhe aur ek saal extra chalunga. Btw mai ek middle class family se hi belong krta hu toh laptop toh ek hi milege family se , incase jo wonder kr rha he kii mai 2 saal ke baad laptop change krunga . It's not just the cpu or gpu.......the entire packaging of 14th Acer predator helios neo ka better hai. Just check the difference between new units and old 13th gen units. I have 13th gen. BUT If I could I will get 14th gen.

Guys let me tell you one thing, there is only 1-2% chance that you're going to face the dead motherboard issue, well to counter that outcome, i prefer u undervolt the cpu (if youre really scared) as it also reduces the temps with the same performance

I am not sure if I agree to not use the device which I am the owner of, with the capabilities it has. If the board and processors/gpu are so delicate, why is the option provided to micromanage the settings that will surely fry it? Lenovo needs to recall such units back, provide a refund, and not keep applying bandages on wall cracks hoping the problem will go away. A consumer should have the right to use the product as they want, not as the company wants you to. Where is the piece of mind for a consumer when they shell out premium money to get a sub-standard device?

Bro this shows u only know how to turn on and shutdown your laptop.....the overclocking is done with calculations to see if the thermals are stable or not, basically if u tune too much of the watts and clock speeds then in the long term of course the motherboard will fry up, apply common sense and don't experiment on things u have no idea about.

Undervolting is the best thing you can do to your laptop if done correctly, you can only undervolt HX cpus. And yes even if you're not plugged it'll still be undervolted

iske multiple units mein problem hai intel , amd sab mein. ek baar making tech friendly india channel pe dehko vo sara subscriber ka issue dalta hai ( with details kab change hua , phir kharab hua phir kya bola service center ne.) dekhna jarru kyun ki vo sab ko bolta hai issue batane aur baat karta hai lenovo se toh uske bass bhut sara hai issue, uske personal 2 3 laptop mein hua hai jo usne mangaya tha. ( and he also does stuffs like honeywell ptm pasting etc ). ayese sare laptops mein issues toh hota hai, main jaana chahiye ki company ka kya response hai( mere lenovo ke service centre( i am in touch with them for long time, i have 3060 legion and ideapad at home) ne bola ki sabko refurbished motherboard mil rha hai, jo kharab ja rha hai uski ko thik kar ke de rahe hai phir dubara kharab ho rha hai, kuch model ko new bhi mil raha hai.

I won't recommend Lenovo LOQ 14700hx 4060 or any other LOQ to anyone. cheap motherboard and battery is used in that laptop, every now and then PC hangs motherboard dies and battery drains, also had terrible experience with service and costomer care.
