I just bought one... I didn't expect the back magnet for the kickstand to be so weak. It tends to always stick out and not lay flush with the back of the tablet when handling.

@@rawkeeps I ended up getting a replacement sent. The kickstand was a little bent and would not stay flush. The replacement is a weak kickstand, but sticks to the back of the cover a bit better

That is a nice video, may I ask how is the touchpad of the keyboard for you? Haven't tried a touchpad to an android device and some other tablets with keyboards and touchpad said it sucks. How about this unit? Will it be better to get a bluetooth mouse and keyboard instead?

You can think of it as a little different from the commonly used touchpad of a Bluetooth keyboard. This official keyboard is connected through a pogo pin, and the sensitivity of the touchpad can be said to be much more stable and better than that of Bluetooth. Therefore, I recommend the official keyboard if you can get it at a reasonably good price. Of course, I bought it at regular price...

In that case, the only way to purchase it is through local open markets in China or AliExpress, but sometimes accessories are sold at abnormal prices due to discontinuation of products. This is not for iPads. However, the AP in the iPad range, which is comparable to the 12.7 keyboard's target product, looks like A12/A13, but this is also difficult to compare because the platform itself is different.

@@Ryan-bi1nr Oh, I see. The keyboard in 12.7 is better made than I thought. The finish is good, and the height is not bad. It's a little ambiguous to call it an issue, but you have to press it when you fold the rear kickstand to feel it's stuck accurately. All but this is great.

how far can the "stand" open? I saw a bit at 2:38 but can it be pushed more? becuase I want to paint I would just like to have a little bit of a tilt but if it strains the cover then It might not be for me

This keyboard is great, but i have no idea why they chose to not have it backlit.

I think they were trying to reduce power consumption when using the keyboard. The 12.7 power consumption in SD870 is not bad, but considering the current situation, it is not good either.

제 경우 국내 오픈마켓에서 구매했었으며 찾아본 결과 모두 품절로 표기됩니다. 추가적인 검색을 통해서도 찾아봤으나 찾을수가 없는것을 보면. 국내 정발 P12 QHD(미디어텍 디멘시티)가 발매 되던 시점 샤오신패드 12.7(스냅드래곤)이 한참 핫했었던걸로 기억하는데.. 당시에도 정발 키보드의 경우는 정발 P12 QHD를 구매하는 경우에 한해 구매할 수 있더라는 얘기가 있었는데, 제 경우 운좋게 단품만 구매할 수 있었습니다만..아무래도 해당 부분과 연관된 영향으로 판매 종료를 한 것으로 보이는게 개인적인 소견입니다.
