In my Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus review you'll see how good the tablet really is. It got pretty good results in my tests. You won't be disappointed because the display is good, the performance is decent and it runs latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Inside the Tab 4 10 Plus runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. We're getting 3GB or 4GB of RAM and a 16GB or 64GB internal storage. The battery life is about 12 hours. In benchmarks it's below a couple of competitors though.
During my review I connected a keyboard and mouse via the USB Type C port. It worked pretty nicely. What do you think?

I just watched your review on the Lenovo M10 and I would appreciate it if you could give me your experienced opinion: I have found both models on the local market, for the same price. Both models have 3GB ram / 32GB rom. I want to buy the Tab 4 10 Plus for the bigger battery and other minor features (better cameras, flash, better processor), but it has Android 7, while the newer M10 has Android 8.1. Which would you suggest? Does the Android version make much of a difference? I am not a gamer, the unit will be used for reading, writing, and controlling an audio console via WiFi. So if one version has unstable wifi, that is also an issue. Thank you very much in advance!

hi thanks for the review. now for your recommendation, I have a samsung tab s 10.5 whose screen broke and i want to replace it. I am looking at the tab s2 ($400) asus 3s ($285) and this lenovo tab 4 plus but in the 4GB ram version. Which would you recommend ? specially in comparison to my old s2. btw I'm ok with the $400 cost but if its not that worth it i wont spend it also my old tablet was 10.5 inch screen

The Tab 4 10 Plus in the U.S. is not the same as the international version. The U.S. version comes only with 2 GB Ram and 16 GB storage of which about half is already used. If they sold the 4 GB / 64 GB version here I would but it, but this configuration is a pass.

The Lenovo doesn't support an active stylus... so you'll only be able to use capacitive ones. I don't have a specific recommendation though.

+abdel aziz ibrahim I think full HD is fine on 10 inches but I wouldn't go below that. Pretty much every phone has a higher pixel density than any tablet, keep that in mind. If you want a higher resolution check out the ASUS ZenPad 3s 10, Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus or Apple iPad 3017.

I have the Lenovo TB-X704L model, which cannot initiate/receive phone calls, even with a call enabled SIM card. Don't buy it if you plan to use it for normal mobile calls, not just VoIP.

I always do the exact same battery test with all tablets I review. Feel free to redo those tests, I mention it in every review. It's not perfect, but good enough for comparisons. It's never copied and btw, I buy a lot of tablets myself to review including this Lenovo and the Tab S3.

This tablet looks really nice. It costs 299 euros with 64GB where i live. For 359 euros i can get the Asus Zenpad 3s 10 with 32GB and a cover. The yoga tab 3 costs 349 euros with 32GB. I really can't tell which one to buy, can anyone help me out? And what do you think?

Well, I am already disappointed, and I don´t even have it. Lenovo doesn´t care about customers at all. There is absolutely no information about realising this tablet here in Czech republic and as I see also in other countries. I asked all big sellers and also Lenovo CZ and no one knows. I want to replace my Nexus 7 2013 and this one seemed to be the only possibility, but I will probably have to wait for some other Google tablet.

Yes, it is possible, shipping can be from 15 to 80 € (if dispatched by Amazon the shipping should be free), but I can´t find the 4GB/64GB LTE version. I looked only for 10" tablets so I didn´t know about the M3, but definitely thanks for the tip. It doesn´t have some features I want, like USB-C, LTE, 10" screen, but other parametres seems to be top notch, so I will add it to my list.

Cześć, jest to mój pierwszy tablet więc nie mam go za bardzo do czego porównywać (zdarzało mi się korzystać z tabletu kolegi, jednakże dawno temu :) ), ale spróbuję coś napisać. Co do ogólnych wrażeń, to jestem zadowolony. Ekran jest dobrej jakości - jasność jest na poziomie 420 Luxów (a przynajmniej tak pisze) więc w normalnych warunkach oświetleniowych sprawuje się bez zarzutu, na pełnym słońcu jednak trochę traci na wyrazistości, jednakże nie utrudnia korzystania z tabletu. 1080p na 10,1 cala niektórzy mogą twierdzić, że mało, ale przy normalnym korzystaniu (czytanie/gry/video) nie odczułem wrażenia "pixelozy". Nawet mała czcionka jest czytelna, litery nie wyglądają na "poszarpane", obraz jest dostatecznie ostry. Co do płynności działania to też nie zauważyłem problemów. Nie przeprowadzałem stress testów z prawdziwego zdarzenia (czytaj - nie grałem w najbardziej wymagające gry), gry i aplikacje chodziły mi płynnie, przełączanie się między aplikacjami jest też jest płynne, tablet podczas działania się nie rozgrzewał. Gdzieś już w jakichś recenzjach słyszałem, że scrollowanie stron jest nie najlepsze - i coś w tym jest, jednakże nie wydaje mi się to winą "wolnego" procesora a bardziej sprawą niedopracowanego oprogramowania (przykład - jeżeli chce się przewijać stronę bardzo szybko, to ruch palca musi być zamaszysty i dynamiczny, małe i szybkie muśnięcie pozwala na przewijanie małej odległości ze średnią prędkością). Co do oprogramowania, to ma swoje blaski i cienie. Mi osobiście podoba się tryb roboczy wprowadzony w tym modelu. Włączenie go powoduje, że zamiast 3 przycisków andrioda na dole wyświetlacza pojawia się "pasek zadań" rodem z PC. Przyciski androida znajdują się wtedy blisko lewej krawędzi ekranu, na prawo od nich są miniatury otworzonych aplikacji, można się pomiędzy nimi łatwo przełączać. Jako, że sporo czytam na tablecie to również cenię sobie bardzo możliwość "odwrócenia kolorów". Negatywem dla mnie za to jest brak wbudowanej apki "latarki" do lampy błyskowej. Jeżeli chce się taką, to trzeba znaleźć jakąś na play store. Też jest ograniczona pula opcji do ustawienia (brak temperatury barwowej dla wyświetlacza). Warto też pamiętać, że system i aplikacje preinstalowane zajmują około 8,5 z 16 gb pamięci. Głośniki jak na sprzęt przenośny przyzwoite, ale nic ponad to. Czas pracy na baterii też jest dobry, bo tablet powinien wytrzymać spokojnie 10+ godzin intensywnego korzystania na jednym ładowaniu. Nie zauważyłem mocnego drainu baterii w stanie czuwania więc jeżeli korzysta się sporadycznie z tabletu, to powinien wytrzymać kilka dni. Ładowanie trwa około 3h. Waga jak na tablet 10 cali jest dobra, jednakże jak doda się jakiś futerał, to robi się ona dosyć duża i tablet nie jest już tak wygodny do trzymania jedną ręką. Jak dla mnie obudowa ze szkła sprawia wrażenie tabletu premium, choć podczas normalnego użytkowania już zdążyłem nabawić się kilku malutkich rysek na "plecach", które są zauważalne dopiero jak mocno się przyglądać. Trzeba uważać jak kładzie się tablet na bardzo gładkich powierzchniach, bo może się ślizgać. Z zauważonych problemów - warto sprawdzić czy karta pamięci będzie dobrze współpracować z tabletem. W innej serii tabletów od Lenovo występował problem z kartami 64 gb i tutaj jest chyba podobnie, (a przynajmniej ja miałem problemy). Teoretycznie jest możliwość sformatować kartę i używać jej jako dodatkowej "pamięci wewnętrznej" tabletu (czyli można np trzymać na niej aplikacje), ale jak tabletowi karta nie odpowiada, to czegoś takiego nie da rady zrobić (błąd podczas formatowania albo jak formatowanie się powiedzie, to aplikacje zainstalowane na karcie będą uruchamiały się wolno, albo wywalały błędy w trakcie działania). Można też sformatować kartę żeby była używana jako pamięć zewnętrzna. Ja miałem taki problem, że żadna z opcji nie działała, kartę sformatowałem przy pomocy PC, wsadziłem do tabletu i nie wybierałem żadnej z powyżej wymienionych opcji. Tablet kartę wykrywa i można z niej wtedy korzystać jako "pamięci zewnętrznej" (przechowywać dane, uruchamiać je z karty np muzyka/video itp), ale daje cały czas powiadomienie o możliwości skonfigurowania karty. Problemów nie powinny przejawiać karty do 32 gb (można je sformatować w fat32), teoretycznie 128 gb nie miały problemów w tej innej wersji tabletów, tutaj może też by nie było. Wyszło tego trochę :D Jakbyś miał jeszcze jakieś pytania, to pisz.

It depends. If you need a fingerprint scanner, then the Lenovo Tab4 10 Plus. However, with the Lenovo Tab M10 3GB you get more recent software. I would choose the M10 so that you're up-to-date longer.

The Tab4 10 Plus is running Android 7 and will probably not get an update. The M10 is running Android 8 and will probably not get an update either. If you don't mind Android 7, then you get a fingerprint scanner and better battery life with the Tab4 10 Plus.

You will be disappointed. Just returned a Lenovo Tab 4 10 Plus. It has a really unbelievable flaw, I still cannot believe it. Imagine this: you get a tablet with full HD screen and super sound and you cannot load a single HD movie to watch! Why? Because somehow Lenovo tabs (including Yoga Tab 3 Pro and Plus) DO NOT SUPPORT FILES LARGER THAN 4 GB!!! The tablet will not accept an SD card in exFAT or NTFS format, and in FAT32 you cannot copy a file >4 Gb, thus only 720p movies and in a pretty bad quality, since even a 720p movie is usually about 6-7 Gb. Huawei does not have this problem, even Lite version, or even the cheaper T3 model of MediaPad. Beware!

first of all most 720p movies are around 700MB to 1.5GB in size and most 1080p movies are 1.5GB to 3GB in size. Secondly, its well known fact that 32 bit android devices can't copy or download more than 4GB of files. You will have to break down files in pieces of less than 4GB. My moto g5 plus also don't support copying or downloading of files more than 4GB in single instruction and so do many many other android phones (and older iphones) Thirdly, it is not such a huge problem. I never faced this problem but one time when i was copying a zip file of size greater than 4GB from SD card to internal storage. Other than that I never encountered this problem. So its not that much of issue you are making. :P
