The ability to use the tablet as a monitor for a PC is kinda goated, but i havent seen that much demos of this use case, would be cool to see if a local bestbuy bas it on display to try out the software on this.

What I like about this tablet is the keyboard and especially the 2 USB-C ports. But I'm not going to lie, when it comes to software tracking, I have zero confidence in Lenovo, and I think very few people are willing to put $1000 into a tablet with a rollercoaster software tracking.

I bought one when it first came out. I sold my Tab S8 Ultra to buy it, mainly for the additional USB-C port with DP in. I would say that the biggest plus for this device is the keyboard case. Being able to detach the tablet and have the kickstand come with it is amazing. I have use the tablet as an portable monitor for my GPD Win Max 2 and it works pretty well as an monitor. If I could make one suggestion for the DP-in going forward, it would be to add USB functionality to the POGO pins, this way we could use the keyboard and touchpad on whatever we connect it to. Samsung's pen is definitely better, mainly because it doesn't require an active Bluetooth connection.

@@beomon3449 I believe 60Hz is the maximum. I have not really ventured past 1080 due to limitations of the APU, it really doesn't game well at resolutions over 1080.

so in the unit box, are the pen and the keyboard folio included? another inquiry is whether is it recommended for notetaking or any such activities when we compare it with other tabs such as iPad Air or Xiaomi Pad 6? I need a tablet only for productivity purposes and I find this one to be a better tablet compared to any other Android tablet worth this price. ... Is there a possible way to buy this internationally since it hasn't been released yet in my country for a good price

You didn't mention it but one of the selling points of this device was that one of the 2 UBS C ports had video in. I saw someone saying it couldn't make it work. I wonder if you could test it to see if it works with a laptop or other tablet as a USB C monitor

I actually had to check my battery on my phone to see if it was on low batt cause the lenovvo tab was so dim. Im glad they are in the space of tabs to push samsung. I will keep a close eye on lenovo tabs but for bow ill stick with my s9 ultra

@@_Digitalguy Touch and pen work, but the pen just works much like a mouse, you don't get the pressure sensitivity like on the tablet in Android.

Just ordered one on Amazon UK. The ability to use it as both a high-end tablet & monitor is very useful and relatively unique. In fact, the last tablet with the display-in feature was Lenovo's very own Yoga Tab 13 from 2021.

Some adobe apps, yes. But they are mobile apps through the play store, the same apps that are available on Android phones through the playstore, they aren't full versions like on a windows pc, but they still do a good job.

The keyboard is pretty close to full size, about 90-95% of the regular size, depending on which laptops you are used to.

Yeah. I love it. The Dexnor case for the S9 Plus is the closest thing I've found. The touchpad isn't great. But everything on it is great

I once had a moto X pure edition, a google left child, and was taken over by lenovo. I bought the moto X bcause of the google updates, however, lenovo software updates is just suck, from then on, i never want to pirchase lenovo brand gadget. I dont trust this company tbh, but i hope they xhanged, and any of you have digferent vood experience, please enlighten me, i teally want to like their product.

No Android tablet is worth paying near $1,000 for it, with the exception of perhaps Samsung. If you're going to spend that kind of money on something like that, you're better off getting a Surface Pro, iPad Air, or even an iPad Pro. You get way better functionality and power for the price you are paying.

I can agree with that generally speaking. But there are some people who don't need something like a Windows device. I would take this screen over the screen of a Surface Pro. And I would take the keyboard over the Galaxy Tab S9 ultra keyboard. The keyboard is more reliable and it's sturdier. It's a really really nice keyboard. So I do think there's a good audience for this. And I will give it a good review, even if the audience is very niche. You are right. Plenty of other alternatives for the price. But at the top of Android, this is one of the best

Planning to use this with the keyboard as mainly a rdp device to my home desktop and work desktop. I wanted something lightweight and long battery life, but also wanted a heavy duty workstation as I do software development. I figured having a setup where I can have the best of both worlds

I honestly wouldn't recommend any of these unless you really need the huge size if you do id say get the s8 ultra or this if you can find a really good deal But honestly i wouldn't recommend using these as laptop replacements because even with things like samsung dex it's still android I think for most people a regular tablet will be fine
