EDIT: it's not as bad as I originally said. Only the settings app is slow to open, everything else is fine. I bought this tablet and am disappointed with its general speed. Opening just the settings app takes like 2 seconds. I have updated to the latest firmware and then done a factory reset and it's still slow like I described. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my model or if this is normal but I have the Australian version (128gb/4gb) I would suggest uninstalling any app you don't need and disabling entertainment space and maybe even the Google app (if you don't need it) to improve performance
