Auf jedenfall, der PC läuft wie ne eins, ist mittlerweile mein Arbeitstier, wo man auch richtig gut dran daddeln kann. Für das Geld war das ein echter Schnapp, was da an Leistung drin steckt. Das einzige Manko ist der fehlende USB 3.0 ... dann wäre da nix dran zu meckern.

Frohes neues: ??? Ich versteh nicht ganz, was sie meinen. Das DVD Laufwerk ist angeschlossen; ich hab nur ein 90 Grad Stecker vergessen anzuschließen und wollte deswegen das ganze Video nicht neu machen. Das ist alles. Und warum sollte man eine 1050 nehmen? Macht keinen Sinn, da die 1050 Ti momentan die bestmöglichste Lösung darstellt, was man an Leistung aus dem Gerät zerren kann. Wer den Geldbeutel enger sitzen hat, entscheidet sich dann eh für eine 1030 oder ein anderes Produkt. Das Video zeigt nur das an dem Datum machbare, was an Leistung möglich ist. Soll heißen: Mit dem Umbau kann man bis zu einer 1050TI 4GB alles reinzimmern, was auf dem Markt ist, ohne das einem die Kiste um die Ohren fliegt. Downgrades sind jedem selbst überlassen. ;)

GPU card for gamers with the stock PSU inside? There is no recommend from me. I recommend things only you can use safely for the whole time.. not for hours or weeks. Maybe a GT 730 LP. But the GT 730 gfx you can't use for games, to less game power :( Maximum Mhz of ram are 1333 DDR III (use the link in my description, thats the best one for this board) The hdd? Whhich one? The hdd i built in? Thats a SATA 3. Or did you mean the Sata connector of the mainboard?

I found a GPU Card for low performance gaming. But the advantages on other points if you buy this card. The first: the card didnt block the small pci e connector nearby the gpu slot. Thanks a lot, but I have a question, I got a Lenovo m73 that is pretty much similar to the m93 I want to put a 1650 lp gtx on this but in the documentation they say that pci express x16 only accept 40 watts cards, the gtx 1650 needs 75 watts standard output, if I change the psu, this will work? 75 Watt are the max Power output from the pcie slot. In this case it would be better to change the psu

Ich habe ein m82 geschenkt bekommen und wollte ggfl. Es mit einer GTX 1650 aufrüsten, selbstverständlich mit dem neuen Netzteil (300watt) da nach 7 Jahren es sogar Sinn macht es zu tauschen. Hast du die GTX 750ti auch unter Stress getestet? Also Benchmarks? Ich habe bei meinem M82 in der PDF entdeckt das da max. 45 Watt GPUs einstecken soll. Aber die Schnittstelle hat keinen Warnhinweise aufs MaBo aufgedruckt. Ich denke Lenovo hat das einfach nur damals mit max. 45 Watt testen können da es damals nicht GPUs mit mehr TDP gab. Oder ist das die Limitierung vom Leiter des MaBos oder vllt doch wegen des Netzteils? (240 Watt aber würden gerade noch so ausreichen unter Volllast)

GTX 1650 kannste in einem M82p vergessen, da die Karte eine höhere Version des PCIe Slots braucht. Eine 1650 würde auch nicht in den hier gezeigten M91p SFF passen. Ich habe einen M92p SFF gekauft ( ebay, 100 € ) da läuft eine 1650 hervorragend. Hier ist eine Liste, was wo rein passt: forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkCentre-A-E-M-S-Series/ThinkCentre-Tower-best-graphics-card-GPU-possible-max-video-VR/m-p/3809400#M21241 Zurück zu diesem Gerät: Natürlich habe ich ein Benchmark gemacht. Den siehst du hier: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWHGnouIn52Dg5o Allerdings habe ich die 750 Ti nach ca 6 Tagen herausgenommen und eine 1050 Ti 4gb ( amzn.to/2nkialm ) reingesetzt. Darauf beruhen auch alle gezeigten Benchmarks. Dein PC ist ein normaler Tower und kein SFF (Small Form Factor gehäuse), oder doch? Die 750 Ti und die 1050 Ti brauchen die kompletten 75 Watt des Steckplatzes. Das hat Lenovo damals beim bauen der Geräte nicht mit einkalkuliert. Ich würde also zur Sicherheit das Netzteil ( amzn.to/2SbkUvS ) tauschen. Denk auch an die Winkel ( amzn.to/2GU1iZ6 ), sonst bekommst du das DVD Laufwerk nicht mehr herunter geklappt.

@@ITmare damit meine ich selbstverständlich das Low Profile model... Aber die 75 Watt sind ja eigentlich der max. Grenzwert der TDP? Ja das ist ja meine Frage, ob diese 45 Watt max. TDP eben von Lenovo als Sicherheit angegeben wurde da man damals keine pcie Karte hatte die mehr als 45 Watt zog oder eben ob das die Grenze von Netzteil oder der Leitung im Mainboard begrenzt mit den 45 Watt. Jap das m82 Small, also usff. Nur eine Low Profile Karte würde hineinpassen. Ich meine bei deinem ThinkCentre hat das ja auch funktioniert, die GtX 750ti verbraucht 60 bis 70 Watt unter Last, deine GTX 1050 zu verbraucht genau wie die GTX 1650 ihre 75 Watt. Ich habe die PDF deines Models gesucht und gefunden unter der GPU soll man auch nicht mehr als eine 75 Watt Karte einstecken... Vielen Dank für deine Tipps und das antworten, sehr hilfreich.

@@tommymccloud2881 TDP ist die CPU Abwärme. Hat mit dem Slot nichts zu tun. Die 75 Watt sind die max Leistung, was der Slot anbieten kann. Deswegen haben große Grafikkarten seperate Stromversorgung, weil der Slot keine 200 oder 300 Watt liefern kann. Und ich habe das Netzteil gewechselt! Nicht vergessen. ;)

@@tommymccloud2881 Hab die 1650 in meinem M91p SFF eingebaut ( man will ja irgendwelchen Aussagen immer keinen Glauben schenken :D ) und alles was kam, war ein schwarzes Bild. Nicht mal das BIOS meldet sich zu Wort. Da dein Gerät nicht auf der Liste steht bei der 1650, wäre das also fail. Kann dich natürlich nicht von abhalten, es dennoch zu probieren. Die 1050 Ti 4GB LP ist save, die läuft ;)

Sie ist nicht mehr Zeitgemäß und ich habe mit der Karte nur 2 Wochen gearbeitet, um sie dann gegen die 1050 ti 4GB LP auszutauschen. Sie verrichtet heute noch ihren Dienst und ist im LP Sektor auch nach 2 Jahren (Stand 26.09.2019) immer noch die schnellste LP Karte. (siehe hier kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWHGnouIn52Dg5o) Vergiss nicht die Sache mit dem Strom, sonst wird aus deinem Geburtstagspc ne brennende Geburtstagstorte wegen Überlast. Und gönn dir die SSD, das gibt der Kiste richtig Schwung.

60 watt from the PCIe for the GPU, 95 watt the cpu. 155 watt in use, 85 watt left for DVD, SSD, HDD, mainboard, cooler, chassis fan. That means your PSU knows one condition only: stress! Sure, you can use the stock PSU, its your choice... but isn't serious for a rebuild demo what i produce. The people build better a pc without burning homes after power on ;)

@jonas Deejee: That isnt the same GPU in your link. This GTX 750 Ti you cant plug inside the SFF case. You need a LP Card. Look at the power consumption of the msi card i presented: www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b4098/msi-gtx-750-ti-lp. And MSI print on the box that the recommened power are 400 watt!

ITmare I know, but the MSI one is slightly lower clocked and has a smaller fan so I don't think it uses more as that. The 400 watt is just recomended because of all the cheap PSU's that provide less power as advertised.

Super coole Anleitung!! Ich habe viel gelacht bei dem Video! FÜNF Sterne Video! Echt witzig und gut erklärt!!! Habe den PC inkl 8RAM + SSD + WIN 10 pro 64bit bei PC-billiger gekauft. Habe dann - wie angedeutet die SSD in den DVD Rahmen sauber verschraubt. Das geht sehr gut (HDD in den DVD Rahmen eher schlecht), da man den HDD Rahmen (der den SSD Rahmen tragen soll!) prima mit dem Klick Halter des (vormaligen) DVD Laufwerkes befestigen kann. Was denkst DU: Kann man Netzteil nicht drin lassen, wenn man keine Graka einbaut und nur den DVD Player durch SSD ersetzt? Dann blieb ich bei 399 EUR für 8GB RAM und 256 SSD. 3TB HDD hatte ich noch herum liegen ;-) Vielen Dank nochmal! - Thorsten

I dont know the M73, but the specification of a PCIe max power outpout are 75 watt. But the 750 ti are replaced after 2 weeks of this video to a 1050 ti LP (look at link: amzn.to/2nkialm ). This card are 30 % faster then the 750 ti. ;) Try it out.

Unfortunately those cards are pretty rare and expensive in my country (Indonesia) so I switch to Sapphire RX 550 full height which is I believe not as fast as GTX 750 Ti, but it is more affordable and still have potential by overclocking it. I use PCIe x16 riser cable and external GPU holder to make it run on my M73 and M93p. And you know what, when I paired this graphics card with a Core i5 4460S processor on my Lenovo M93p, it didn't match. The picture on my monitor shows strange colors from the beginning the computer boot up. But when I pair it with the Pentium G3220 on my M73, the pictures appears in my monitor is normal. I think this relates to the TDP of the Core i5 processor which is 65 watts compared to the G3220 which is only 54 watts. Maybe I should change to the T series like the i5 4570T which has a TDP of 35 watts so the RX 550 will run properly.

Das ist das große Problem. Selbst, wenn man die gleiche Taktung erwischt, kann es sein, das die Anordnung der Chips physikalisch anders ist und man wieder 2 unterschiedliche hat. Um die höchste Stabilität zu haben, sind 2 identische immer die 1. Wahl. Rumwurschteln möchte ich auf YT nicht präsentieren; das Konzept ist so wie gezeigt sehr sicher, damit das Gerät auch über lange Zeit Höchstleistung liefern kann.

Ive never seen a s510 sff, but the picture of them ( google is my friend :D ) shows there are not the same space like here. The m91p have 4 slots, your s510 have 2 only. Is this right? This card are not so powerful like the 1050 ti LP, but for small funs and games its enough.

Das Original Netzteil hat nur 240 Watt und keinerlei Zertifizierung. Also kommen da nie im Leben 240 Watt raus. In meiner Bauanleitung habe ich ein sehr starkes Netzteil ( amzn.to/2SbkUvS ) für diese Gehäuseklasse benutzt. 300 Watt in Gold Zertifizierung bringt knapp 90% der Leistung dauerhaft ohne Stress. Gegenüber dem Original sind eine Reserve von 60 Watt geschaffen worden. Aber welche Graka mit poweranschluss passt in ein SFF Gehäuse? Haben LP Karten nicht generell kein Anschluss?

Ich versteh die Frage nicht, weil auf dem Gerät eh Windows 10 läuft. Falls die Frage nach dem End of Support für Windows 7 auftaucht... die Frage stell ich mir seit einem Jahr nicht mehr. Genauso stell ich mir die Frage nach Windows XP schon seit 8 Jahren nicht mehr. Alles hat nun mal ein Ende; das ist die IT und nicht die Malerei. ;) Falls doch noch 2020 Win7 im Umlauf ist...bis dahin gibt es ja support; also alles, was jetzt gekauft wird (Drucker etc. ) hat eh Windows 7 Support. Nur zur Erinnerung: Win7 kam 2009 auf dem Markt. Das ist 10 Jahre her!

Hallo Joachim, hast du aus deinem bestehenden System mit der Samsung Data Migration Software deine Platte auf die SSD geklont? Das ist nämlich sehr wichtig, das nicht mit einer anderen Software zu machen. Hast du mehrere Platten in deinem System? Wenn alle diese möglichen Fehlerquellen nicht in Frage kommen.... Ist dein System auf UEFI oder auf Legacy Boot (altes MBR System) installiert worden? - Einstellung im Bios überprüfen! Mit UEFI kommt der nicht so gut klar. Umgedreht: Ist das System mit Legacy gelaufen und soll jetzt mit UEFI starten.. da findet er keinen Datenträger. Mehr Ideen hab ich leider nicht dazu. Ich hoffe, du kannst mit den Infos was anfangen. Letzte Instanz: Auf neue SSD Windows neu installieren. Dann prüfen, ob er den Datenträger überhaupt sieht.

YOu didn't understand the extension "LP". LP didn't means short.. rather means "low profile". "low profile cards" have the (ca.) half high then normal gfx cards. The problem is not the length of cards.. its the high. So you can't build in short cards. Reason: they have the same high like normal cards.

Hallo Marco, das MB hat 4 Anschlüsse, wovon 2 im Original Zustand von HDD und DVD belegt sind. Es sind also noch 2 frei. Das Problem ist aber ein anderes: Zumindest bei mir hatte das Original Netzteil keinen weiteren Stromanschluss über. Um das zu umgehen hier mein Tipp: Nimm dir ein externes Gehäuse im 2,5 Zoll Format ( z.b. von Inateck, das kostet so gut wie nix), pack da die SSD rein und klone dann (am einfachsten mit Samsung, weil die die Software "Data Migration" mit beilegen, einfacher gehts nicht mehr). Dann HDD raus und SSD rein... tadaa, fertig. :) Wenn beides laufen soll, geht auch ein Y Kabel von SATA auf 2x Sata Power. i cant give you analyses of your system if i didnt stand in front of it. but... maybe you forgot the CPU power? the 4 Pin power connector beyond the plastic cover from the cpu cooler? If you forgot them, all devices turns on... sure... but nothing happen. And.. the machine have no HDMI ( or did you buy a GPU card?). The orignal have a vga dsub and a display port connector.

Never test it to plug a normal ATX PSU on it. Reason: you can't build the ATX PSU inside the case, there no space for it. And second reason: the TFX psu have an "air condition" way for the CPU. The hot air blows through the PSU with fans out of the case.

In diesem - wie gezeigt - steckt auch ein I5. Und zwar ein I5 2500. Der größte M91p DT war nur mit einen I5 2400 bestückt; einen größeren hatte ich nicht gefunden bisher. Bin leider noch nicht draus schlau geworden, was das DT zu bedeuten hat. Aber es ist laut Angabe auch ein SFF Gehäuse wie hier im Video gezeigt. D.h., eine normale Graka passt da nicht rein; auch deine Pläne mit der Sapphire sind leider zum scheitern verurteilt, da nur LP Karten in das Gehäuse passen und die Sapphire normale Höhe hat. Leider keine gute Nachrichten, sorry.

Du brauchst aber ne Karte, die in der Höhe nur die Hälfte ist wie ne normale Karte. Remember! use the legacy, not the UEFI mode to install W10. The hybernation are buggy on this model. I you install w10 in uefi mode, you cant power off the pc ( fans runs further, the system doesn't powering off automatically). Happy setup :)

Max are 16 GB ram, it means 4x4. 2x8 i have never testet. but it makes no sense, if 2x8 works (so i can use 4x8 maybe?? No! ). And currently i use a GTX 1050 TI LP ( plz look at the description - there are links :) ) Important are that you can use LP GFX cards only! And are you uncertain because the card are to long... throw the DVD Burner out of the case, use a flex kit case - amzn.to/2vZDbFt - and you have more space for longer gfx cards ;)

I didn't know your pc.. but currently the 1050Ti lp 4 GB from MSI are still the best. Recommend are 300 Watt PSU for this card. A GT 730 or 1030 isn't a good choice for gamers. I don't know your case, SFF is a norm only. 8 GB Ram single brick is worse. Better 2x4 GB (dual channel mode gives you more speed) or 2x8. Single never. And the first accelarator for you is to change the HDD with a SSD mass storage.

Its a normal pcie Slot. Maximum are 75 Watt from Slot. But the psu is the main problem. The stock psu didn't support enough power about the whole time. Your safer with a stronger psu.

ahhmmm not really. this machine are released at 2011. Its the first i5/i7 socket (sandy bridge i mean). no way to build newer ones inside. I have seen a video where somebody put a I7 3770k in. But that is with the stock cooler not a good idea.

Hallo, ich kenne das Gerät leider nicht und kann dazu keine Hilfestellung leisten; aber lt. Abbildung bei Lenovo ist das ein Tower, korrekt? Und die R9 270 OC hat ne ziemlich hohe Leistungsaufnahme. Besitzt die Grafikkarte einen separaten Stromanschluss? Dann könnte das original Netzteil doch zu schwach sein, denn lt AMD hat die Karte eine max Aufnahme von 150 Watt. Es kommt aber nur um die 75 Watt über den PCIe Anschluss des Mainboards.

Danke für Deine Mühen! Am NT kanns nicht liegen, da ich ja ein 600W-Teil eingebaut habe und die Graka mit Strom versorgt war. Ich hab letztlich heraus gefunden, dass dieser PC die r9 einfach nicht unterstützt. Hab dann meine 1060gt eingebaut, und siehe da, die wurde sofort erkannt und lief problemlos.

Das wird jetzt eine sehr laienhafte Antwort, vorweg schon mal entschuldigung dafür. Es sieht mir nach einem mATX Mainboard aus, aber wirklich ausprobiert, ob es in einen normalen ATX Tower passt, habe ich nie. Warum auch? Den Vorteil der Kompaktheit zu verlieren kann ich dann auch eleganter und effizienter mit einem normalen Mainboard. Selbst wenn ich einen Tower zu Testzwecken zur Hand hätte, würde ich keine Anstengungen in diese Richtung betreiben. Neue Mainboards für 40 - 50 € erfüllen da mehr Zweck als ein betagtes Q67 Board für SFF Pc's.

First. I didnt understood everything! If you mean, if the stock PSU have enough power to support a 1050 Ti? Answer: No! For a safe using you must change the PSU with 300 watt minimum. No sir. There is no option to change the speed. But: At BIOS - menu "power" - you can choose 2 options. "Better Acoustic" or "Better Thermal Performance". Last one are louder, but better for the system health.

There exist two possibilities. A pro version and a ... home improvement version. The pro means, you buy a flex kit case like this one - amzn.to/2vZDbFt -and the DVD burner must go. The "modding" version is: use doublesided duck tape and fix the ssd at the bottom of the dvd burner. Both version works ;)

Die Bauernart: Doppelseitiges Klebeband, 2 streifen an die ssd und unter das DVD Rom geklebt. Die seriöse Art: Hab das DVD Laufwerk rausgeworfen ( externes DVD Laufwerk amzn.to/2HxGViQ ) und das hier - amzn.to/2pbdJHM - eingebaut ;)

Yes, it works fine. Playing and streaming with this rig isnt a problem. the second question: Youre on a wrong way. The grafic memory (GDDR) are 5. The Memory (Ram) are DDR3. 2 different parts! Thats not the same.

Ey och verstehe es nicht habe mir das netzteil in der beschreibung gekauft habe alles angeschlossen habe dann versucht das laufwerk runter zu drücken und es geht nicht weil der stecker vom netzteil zu groß ist und es nicht passt

Und nur wegen dem Stecker wollte ich das Video nicht neu drehen. Ich rate auch dazu, das DVD Laufwerk auszubauen. Hab ein externes für 15 € gekauft und statt dessen ein SSD Halter dort eingebaut. Danke fuer die Antwort, @@ITmare ja, die sehen alle'vergeben aus in GB. Ich habe mir jetzt eine 1050ti geholt und die passt und funktioniert. Ich hab ein Problem mitm Netzteil, wenn ich das DVD Laufwerk anschliesse, und runterklappen will, passen die Kabelnicht an der Kante des Netzteils vorbei, kann ich schlecht beschreiben, weisste was ich meine?Also das SATA Anschluss am neuen Netzteil ist anders, steht so nen halben centimeter weiter raus, und damit zu weit. Muss ich wohl da rumfrickeln...

@@ITmare ich denke die ganze Zeit(naja fast die ganze Zeit) darueber nach dasInnenleben in ein neues Gehaeuse zu transferieren,um ein wenig Bling reinzubringen (RGB lichter, Wasserkuehlung usw). Wuerdest Du das empfehlen, oder ist das Zeitverschwendung? Ich habe auf ein I7 upgradet und es laeuft echt cool. Ist das Mainboard Formfaktor ATX oder was denkst Du? Danke vielmals!

I don't know about the normal M91p tower version. You see in my video the sff (small form factor) version. If there a 300 watt psu inside? if yes.. you can plug a normal ( you didn't need a LP card) gtx1050 ti inside. Seems to be you can buy a normal ATX psu if there not enough power.

I cant follow you. Whats the point of your question? At the video i changed the PSU because i build a game performance GFX card inside. Without the gfx card there is no need to replace the PSU with a stronger unit. Is that your question?

Hi, hätte da zwei Fragen, vielleicht kann mir jemand weiter helfen, ich möchte demnächst für meinen Bruder mal ein Gamingsystem bauen und dafür einen gebrauchten M92p/M93p Microtower (also der große) kaufen und aufrüsten, wieviel Platz nach vorne ist für Grafikkarten (weil möchte was gebrauchtes von eBay einbauen, vielleicht ne R9 280x und die sind alle so zwischen 25 bis 30 cm lang) und wie sieht es, um dann die Grafikkarte mit Strom zu versorgen (hab schon gesehen, dass ich fürs Mainboard dann einen Adapter bräuchte) dort mit anderen ATX-Netzteilen aus, würde da wohl eines mit 550W einbauen, wahrscheinlich modular. Und ansonsten: ist das Microtower-Board im ATX-Formfaktor was die Bohrungen anbelangt, sodass man es auch einfach in ein normales ATX-Gehäuse einbauen könnte. Wäre schön, wenn mir jemand hierbei helfen könnte, habe nicht so Lust, da fast "die Katze im Sack" zu kaufen und dann in die Röhre zu gucken, hätte zumindest aber noch eine ähnlich große Grafikkarte und ein ATX-Netzteil, sodass ich es auch ausprobieren könnte, bevor ich den Rest (GraKa und neues NT) dann kaufe.
