@@uFixTek today I opened the notebook and it looks different to the image sent. But identical to the video. Is the cmos battery on the other side of the board or does it even have a cmos battery? (I've got the problem that the notebook does not start anymore... disconnecting the normal battery did not work so I try to find the cmos battery...)

when you have a water damage on a laptop you need to ask the following: #1. was the water poured on the keyboard, or the water went inside from the sides. #. what kinda water sugar acidic water mineral water #3. when was the accident time #4. after the accident they still used it? #5. what have they done to the laptop : dry it on the son ?, bag of rice? .... what you need to know about the water damage... #1. if the water was on the keyboard 90% probability is that the keyboard must be changed, #2. also if the water was reached into keyboard, it also could slow down the laptop a lot, because it could have a stock key press and physically you wont see a key pushed down its at membrane level. #3. water damage can cause a oxidize on some components observe the motherboard and take a pictures of the area where you see the water damage. #4. check inside the usb ports contacts sd card readers for oxidization. what you should do? before anything let the client know that even the laptop turns on now!, after cleaning and washing up the laptop has a chance that it wont turn on and will need major repair. 1. remove the motherboard and every other components. 2. cleanup the motherboard with a tooth brush and alcohol iso, the contacts the ports and all. remove the ssd or hdd remove the ram and clean the pins. once everything is clean plug the hdd to your pc using a adapter: amzn.to/2WPBaKr (ssd to usb adapter) then use a program : hard disk sentinel to check the hard drive status anything under 90% replace the hdd. now what you need to do its to not connect the keyboard flex to the motherboard use a an external keyboard and install windows and test if everything running ok then power off and plug the keyboard flexor, and if its slowed down then you know that the keyboard must be replaced (this happens often with water damage) the water damage repairs are not simple unless you lucky that the mobo is not damaged.

It was under like he put laptop on the juice spilled table so keyboard is out of the woods but what i will probably find and do about oxdized components specifically the back of the motherboard facing the ground if there is corrosions
