I made a decision to buy a Lenovo Yoga with a Snapdragon chip, and I am very happy with the battery life. I'm not going back to Intel or AMD!

SOLID offering from Lenovo! I luv it but Windows on ARM has been what it’s always been. X Elite is performing pretty nice but the GPU is just terrible for me, Intel Arc is 100% better lol. However, Lenovo did its best and created a budget bang. I WOULD RATHER BUY LUNAR LAKE THOUGH FOR EFFICIENCY PLUS COMPATIBILITY 😃 Prefer it over the XPS Anyway… MACBOOK ON THE CORNER: IHEEEEHEEEEHEEEEHEEE😂 I AM THE 👑 😈😈😈

Please suggest me best laptop for graphic design with minimum budget .

The Slim 7X uses the lowest SKU with no boost, so to compensate, it has a higher TDP, hence the larger battery. So, if you are buying this to multitask or working on intensive apps, battery life will drop significantly, and several reviews are out there exploring that scenario. However, keeping to a basic office, browser, and social media workflow will perform well and efficiently. With demand nosediving after the hype, we are already seeing discounts with rumours that Qualcomm will release lower-cost options sooner rather than later. People prefer a premium ultrabook with fewer compromises (poor GPU and compatibility issues). The best advice to mixed users is to avoid this generation.

Hey, I was watching the latest Pete Matheson video and he mentions that his unit with SD X elite processor didn't even last more then 5 hours on a single charge. Is it really 14 hours that you are seeing on your laptop?
@SoulOfTech2 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! Yup we got 14 hours on a single charge. The use included watching YT videos, all my web surfing needs, a little bit of photo editing and using excel.

Not lasting more than 5 hours seems extremely unlikely unless they were running dozens of extremely high performing apps at max brightness which is very unrealistic and almost pointless to use with a laptop like this. You need to keep the testing to a reasonable level and you'll easily get 10+ hours of battery life with these new chips. I mean heck, even the 4 year old Intel chips got more than 5 hours easily

So why hasn't he filed a lawsuit for false advertizing? Why don't you buy this laptop and file a lawsuit? In fact, find any non-gaming laptop with a battery that lasts 5 hours and then file a lawsuit. Since neither of you will ever find such a laptop, please delete this comment....

It depends on how you use it. The more in-depth tests show that as you perform greater workloads, like multitasking and intensive apps, it performs similarly in efficiency to the current Core Ultra chips. That is why Qualcomm only showed battery life watching media, as that effectively only uses the AV decoder with the GPU and CPU spooled down to low wattage. If that is all you do, then even Intel can get 14 hours of SOT. From all these reviews, around 8-10 hours of mixed-use is closer to reality.

The good: OLED screen, CPU performance, RAM speed (8000+ Mhz/s), battery life, Wi-Fi 7, adjustable SSD, comfortable keyboard, and nice design. Works great with Microsoft apps. The bad: Waiting on some apps to have drivers, some printers 🖨 don't synch, and the GPU is extremely inefficient for 3.8 TFLOPS.

It's the same issue when Apple introduced Silicon M1, the only makes apple succesful transistioned from Intel to ARM is that they managed both software and hardware

The Ideapad series is not bad either if you are okay with lesser display quality.
