I've used the lens covers multiple times, and tried the same shot with and without it and either I suck, or I didnt see any difference in light flares or brightness. The only thing I do see is if I am at the lowest F# then I get the vingrette effect of it showing.

Thanks Paul! Now, I know the significance of the red dot vs. the white dot! Also, I'm shopping for new lenses; and now I know to look for EF vs. EFS lenses so that when I upgrade to a full frame, I'll be able to use my new lenses on both cameras. Though I'm not completely happy with my kit lenses, I am now aware that I can use the kit 70mm - 300mm lens on a full frame camera, as well. I'm not exactly a beginner; but I still learned a lot from this video.

Here is my question. I've been looking into cameras that take professional photos, but also can film nearly pro level movies. The two I have been looking at is the black magic 6 k and Sony alpha a7r 4 or 5. What would be your recommendation between those cameras to get the best of both worlds? Thanks!

Hello Paul What or why is better the filters and or filters on your computer? Thanks for great video and clear
@photogenius3 жыл бұрын
Both can play in a part in creating better images - but the important thing to realise is that sometimes software (as good as it) cannot recover details that may be lost if you have under or over exposed an image. Some filters like polarising filters will also be able to do things (like get rid of reflections) that cannot be replicated using software. Hope that helps Victor - thank you for watching.

I have the canon rebel T6 and ESDDI speed light for about two years and I haven't been able to take a picture with total black background. I have followed the steps on some KZbin videos with no success. What am I doing wrong and how do I do it right.? I'm using manual mode and the speed Light as a slave mode. Thank you in advance.
@photogenius2 жыл бұрын
It sounds like your shutter speed is too slow, try increasing your shutter to around 1/160 - 1/200. The faster shutter speed will mean less ambient light is recorded, you may also need to lower the ISO - try 200.

Thanks for watching and the support Daniel. With the 70-300mm, I don't believe there is much difference terms of image quality - so go with whatever suits your budget. Best wishes.
