Concerning stuck filter, when I was traveling in Portugal, I hung my camera on a hook and it fell The camera had a lens hood and a polarizing filter. The hood absorbed part of the shock and flew away, but the filter took most of it. It was broken and I could not remove it. I went to a camera store and they could not remove it either, so they gave me the adress of a camera repairman. He was able to take it off and checked that the lens wasn't desaxed after the shock. It cost me a filter, but the energy that it absorbed while breaking probably saved my lens.

Definitely don’t need filters to protect your lens. That’s a big lie the filter cos. And camera stores came up with after filter sales cashed. Would you place an ultra thin piece of glass on your car to protect your windshield? 😂 Just use the lens hood. You’re going to break expensive lens filters bumping into something that wouldn’t leave the slightest mark on a front element.

You lost me at the clear filter recommendation.

Put a cheap clear filter on a lens that’s worth hundreds if not thousands of dollars because of its glass and clarity? That’s such bad advice it makes this video a joke! Do better!
