Leo Boni - Mr. Yes Man

Mr. Yes Man is the first song I wrote for my last work “The Ring”. I wrote it in Maputo, Mozambico, and it’s not related to it’s meaning in colloquial English. It relates to someone that for good will is incapable to say No, and this obviously destroys his life. The key is a mix of a special scale and a rhythm that I heard in mid/southern Africa, which actually turned out to be very alike my beloved Funky Afroamerican sound. The fusion of the electric and acoustic guitars is also a main ingredient for this song and the whole record.
