One of Jeff Becks best. I used to play this all the time until I had a stroke. Your version was 99% perfect. Great job!

Man! It's JB's pure DNA.. nothing better nothing worst. a lot of things over there are 256 bit encrypted by him a :-) Masterpiece. If you love it you're UniQue!

To play Beck it's almost impossible, I've seen a lot of failed attempts, even by professionals, but you did it, simple and humble.

Very nice, missing my 1974 Black Beauty after watching this. Wishing I had an Ox Blood Standard like Becks. Excellent.

Dude that was great. I chatted with the man that wrote this song. It gave me a kick to tell him how much I loved the song. I'm sure he would love your cover.

You talked with Holland? If you're still tuned in here, I'd love to hear about the conversation.

Beautifully played. Nailed it down tight. I particularly like the bit where you join in towards the end of Max Middleton's keyboard solo around the seven minute mark and help close out the song (giving it your own touch as Beck does not play towards the end of the original recording).

In fact, the more I listen to the end bit it reminds me a little of Wes Montgomery.

Thank you very much for doing this. Now I can finally learn this melody by watching you instead of having to do it by ear which I haven't really done. This makes it so much easier. You sure got that tone down to a tee. Excellent!

great tone from the player and his old Les Paul

Nice job on the lead, listened to it at 75% speed, really slow lofty, Lina cool. Spouse Jeff used the Paul . U got good good voice phrasing, as to where u choose to play the notes on the neck. Got a grip on the chords, gotta have a go at this piece, always enjoyed it

You have nailed the tone. What are you using for gear and settings? Great job.
@leorizzosipod10 жыл бұрын
I think I used Guitar Rig 2, don't remember, The tone is just the LP, that's what he recorded the song using, and all you need to do is keep it fairly clean with a little compression for some sustain

Bravo, you got it down maybe better than Beck himself. Don't think he's ever played it like the recording since he did it.
@Hue_Nery5 жыл бұрын
That's probably because Beck likely improvised most of this in studio, just as he does live. Improv is a part of blues and Jazz. It's not a problem. It's a feature.

Of Course he has George Martin`s Orchestra in the background. George Martin made everyone sound better. Even Paul McCartney who is the greatest musician of our time.
