Gareth this is so true with me and my son , I’ve been his carer best friend appointee etc and a few days ago he just turned on me and attacked me out of the blue . I’ve stood by him for 15 years after he experienced a traumatic experience and he has never been the same person since . I am hurting inside as it was totally out of character for him to do this. You’re fantastic and amazing at your job and I want to say thank you 🙏🏻 to you . X

Spot on I’ve been trying to help my ex partner get back on his feet as he turned to drugs after our separation. Due to this he lost almost everything including almost loosing him home. I’ve been helping him pay his rent so he doesn’t become homeless and also trying to help him clean himself up but this is putting a lot of pressure on me and I feel he is now taking my kindness to help him as a reason to not help himself and is also making him not move on so I’ve become stuck. It’s time for me to leave him now to help himself. Again I’ve became a fixer of our peoples problems. I need to focus on myself my family and my work. What ever will be will be but I’m done helping those who don’t hurt themselves
