Thanks Leo! Really appreciate the comparison. I’m really looking forward to the tone comparison as well. I have the GE 250, and so far I am impressed with the Mooer pedal - coming from a Boss GT user. The flexibility of the Boss GX100 is a great feature, but the longer looper and rhythm machine is a great feature of the Mooer, not to mention the tone capture and GE Labs/IR features. I have gigged with my GE 250 for a few months and the small form factor, the easy user interface and edit-ability, the awesome tones and balanced outputs are all serious features to take into consideration. Thanks again!

But so is the parallel chain option if you want to do PF style stuff. The C1 pedal on the Boss can switch you to any different amp and/or pedal setup you want and back again easily.

Good review! I don't know why Boss didn't include the Aux In jack, being this unit very wide. Maybe they manage the play along feature in another way.

Hi Antonio, thank you for sharing and I'm happy you like the review! Good point about the Aux in..I don't have an answer...

Looking forward to the sound demo. Since both units have Expression Pedals, it might be useful to mention if one performs better or is more versatile than the other. Thanks
@LeoGibsonGtr2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Well, I found little differences among the expression pedals of these two units..they are pretty similar. Thank you!

I have a GE300 and I am finding it difficult to get a clear note with the new Poly Pitch effect, it always sounds like it is chorused even though I completely remove the original signal from the mix. The effect is nice for clean chordal picking, but I would like my overdriven sounds without the chorusing. When you do the tone comparison could you compare a similar effect with the GX100? Thanks

Mooer features are more superior. But I somehow lean toward Japanese quality over Chinese quality. You know, that made in China thing 😁. I'm just biased. Good review btw.

Hi, than you for sharing!
@monty642 жыл бұрын
The GX100 is a very high quality product, regardless where its made. It's in Malaysia, btw, in a really modern plant. I think you should rethink your prejudices, just saying. Cheers.
@metallion0738 Жыл бұрын
Almost everything is made in China nowadays, even if a brand is American or Japanese, so I strongly disagree, the quality control is what it should be taken into consideration nowadays, your thinking is of 30 years ago where everything was made here in the USA and Japan, but do to globalization things have change worldwide.

Lack of balanced xlr outs on boss is a deal breaker for me :/ I seriously cant see a reason why would anybody get a gx300 for almost the same price as ge300.
@小牛-o5f2 жыл бұрын
Same for me. The balanced outs are so important in every live-setting I join. There are never enough stage boxes around, or one would have to buy and carry them around separately. Adds significantly to price and bulk. I think the Boss is a great unit, but not for how I use it. And there is not one feature in th Boss I would miss in the Mooer. I surely don't need a touch screen nor a bluetooth dongle.
@dykeneuk2 жыл бұрын
I don’t trust Moore reliability. I’ve never had a boss product fail.
@jcoulter432 жыл бұрын
@@小牛-o5f I'm agreeing with both of you. The missing XLR outputs is a boneheaded move to not include. I still use a Firehawk FX when I'm playing out due to the convenience of the XLR and I really appreciate the Bluetooth functionality on the tablet or phone for quick tweaks without having to bend down and fiddle with the pedal's knobs. I know the Firehawk FX is a dinosaur, but many features it has should have been copied by the other manufacturers on their new pedals (can you hear me POD Go?). Looking forward to the rest of your review Leo. God bless and rock on 👍🎸😎 Happy Easter!
@LeoGibsonGtr2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for sharing... judging from the comments...for many of you balanced outputs are an important feature...
@nathan7thave2 жыл бұрын
@jcoulter43 same here i’m using firehawk fx too and i believe bluetooth is a ‘must’ on all upcoming guitar multifx nowadays. Editing through app using a phone or tablet/ipad via bluetooth is very 21st century! No need for a laggy touch screen! And a bonus of streaming a backing track through bluetooth plus xlr out!
