I think only one was legit, the earliest one had copyright, the others really felt like knockoffs that used to be seen flooding the dark side markets years ago. Art and Plush toys are the two easiest methods of clone copy items.

Exactly! Not tk mention that so many characters with starring roles in the recent series such as daisy have gone unmerchandised. Mattel wonders why they're loosing money, but the answer is right in front of their eyes! If you've seen the JBS, you'd be aware of lexi, yes? She was a very popular character they could've made lots of merchandise money out of, but they didn't make any merchandise of her! While i am aware that there is merchandise of her on the way, it wasn't released during the boom of the entire film. A wasted opportunity :(

The mainland was always the other place that was there but left well alone. Now it seem Thomas needs to drift away from the magic of Sodor Island at any opportunity. It was bad enough going to Misty Island and Thomas was rescued from there, but the Mainland presents some huge confusion and delay issues. RIP Sodor Island.

Well, I guess I'll make a normal comment now. I have that same play table, and I really loved it for a long time. Quite amazing how the toys were back in that era. leokimvideo I believe that everyone that cares about Thomas merchandise should just move to Japan. They get all the good stuff. Including but not limited to: Plarail, Capsule Plarail (they don’t cheat you in Japan) and N-Scale. I highly recommend buying more things from Japan.

I actually have that big thomas. It is a thomas that ran on tracks that came with it and children could ride on it. It made whistle sound a talking sound and the thomas theme. And can’t remember it those are the sounds but I think they are. I still have it just it’s deep in my garage.

I recognize some of those posters, I have them as puzzles that were licensed, I just pulled one of the boxes out, one was called Thomas, Mavis, and Duck Crossing the River with the company being Golden Puzzles and the year of 1993, the other with Thomas and duck was another puzzle I had, I would think from around the same era, the early to mid 90s when I was just a young boy. Hope that helps figure, it is to bad about those I loved looking at the thomas art from that era and it is to bad that those didn't make it.

The pictures with the Owain signature on it were made by a Thomas and Friends illustrator called Owain Bell. He did illustrations for a lot of Thomas and Friends items such as jigsaw puzzles and the ERTL packaging from 1993-1999. I hope that solves a Thomas mystery.

You said you watched the Movie, correct? What are your thoughts on the Inconsistent Bouncing of the Engine's Chassis? People online have been complaining about how it takes away Realism and How It's Distracting. Although, I'm sure they're all concerned that show is becoming more like Chuggington. Personally, I don't mind it. It insinuates gestures, and allows the Engine's to express their statements better. As well as make it seem like The Engine's are dancing during the songs, which most people seem to love. Anyway, before I drag this on, What is your opinion on the subject? I would also like to ask, if you don't mind, your opinion on the Cheapening of recent Thomas & Friends Toys? Especially with the upcoming Thomas WOOD.

I have only watched half the film. The bouncing engines to be only distracts from the original feel of the Thomas films. I dare say those who animate the films want more movement to give the trains more life. History rarely ever plays a part in a change I have noticed. The whole series seems quite fluid. My worry is that this movement of the engines will stay because little children will possibly love it. They are not looking at the series with adult eyes that have seen how the series used to stick to strong railway ideals. Anyway children today want that Disney feel to everything. In Cars films that's how they animate. Being static is a tad too boring for little ones today. The only good thing is the bouncing movements were not as savage as Chuggington.

It's really difficult making paint stick to UV affected plastic. Not only has that plastic lost it's colour it's become very brittle. Sadly these toys are never made to last more than a few years. Toy companies must love that.

That play table is very fascinating especially because the constructions book says that Thomas should move yet when you open it there was no motor in sight... also have you tried ERTL track for the plastic fantastic Thomas and Percy that come with the ride on as I know it's quite wide?

Any time I look back to ERTL it really opens your eyes to how beautiful the toys were. Sure they were not perfect but overall they presented some really nice looking Thomas toys that hold their value pretty well.

The first 3 Thomas art / posters look like Owain Bell illustrations. i don`t know what their worth but i do know that the same artist also did the artwork on the Ertl Thomas packaging during the 1990s. A lot of the BNIB Ertls you shown in the past do have bell`s illustrations on them like the rusty you showed in the toy haul from saint Luke`s model train show in 2014. It would be interesting to see what other toys work on the 2017 ride on thomas with raceway however find it strange that there is very little storage space on the toy as most ride on thomas have some storage either under the seat or in the coal bunker

With that chocolate, it's either mold, or heat bloom, which is where chocolate heats up and gets cold again, and some of the ingredients come to the surface Considering they've been knocking around in a hot climate for a while
