@@patricknwoko6979 Nothing. Just some guesses. Both are excellent fighters. Leon's a truly all arounder, with elite Muay Thai, and Usman's a powerful, elite wrestler with deadly punches who's able & willing to swing for the fences knowing he has elite wrestling to back him up in dicey situations... There is just ONE tiny crucial difference, however: back in 2015, when they first fought, Usman, while also new to the UFC, was already a physically peaking 28 year-old looking EXACTLY as muscled as he is today and while his striking may not have been as good as it is today, his elite wrestling, his YOUTH as a fast, agile, athletic 28 year-old peaking fighter made sure whatever the lanky 24 year-old Leon could do in physicality, Usman EASILY matched him. Role reversal is quite substantial after 7 long, gruesome years, though: today, whereas Usman is an aging fighter --- still powerful & elite in wrestling, with much better striker, but an aging 35 year-old with multiple knee and hand surgeries, who has talked about "retiring on top of the game" a few times (who's also talked about fighting Canelo, Jiri at 205, etc ---- Leon has finally filled out his 6'2" frame, put on some 5 to 8 pounds of extra muscles on his arms and shoulders (with his waist being one of the smallest), & has upgraded his TDD, upportunistic wrestling & BJJ to almost elite levels (though he will never be as good in standing wrestling as Colby, Usman, or Khamzat, who wrestled from the time they're little boys, like how GSP approached it, if you are good enough in wrestling & if your timing is good, you could down even D1 wrestlers just as easily). GSP never wrestled one day in his youth --- he learned to wrestle only after he's already in his late teens to early 20s, having gotten into MMA --- and he, again, EASILY out wrestled all former D1 wrestlers he fought in MMA... So it's very doable if your wrestling is good enough, with timing and tactics, you could overpower wrestlers who, ON PAPER, say they're elite... Anyway, today, the older and bad kneed Usman could hardly move fast; all he does is just slowly, methodically plot forward. What that means is, if you stand there like the smaller, shorter, & slower guys like Colby, Masvidal, Burns et al. Usman has zero fear, zero problem dealing with you... since he's taller, bigger, stronger, and is able to leverage his elite wrestling, in a slow, methodical clinch maneuvering... But if Leon & Team are able to put a game plan in place and strictly follow it through... so the priming 30 year-old 6'2" could his frame/height, his reach (leg reach: arms reach, Usman seems to have 2 inches over Leon; but leg reach, Leon likely has 3+ inches over Usman), his superior agility and speed, his perpetual hit-and-run tactics, his powerful and fast calf/knee kicks, liver kicks, and head kicks.... the great but slowing down champ COULD have a very long night, all the saying & assertions to the contrary about Usman "easily" walking through a prime, elite striking south paw notwithstanding...
