@@guyguy7002 Eh this was a completely different Usman than that of the first fight and those fights with Colby. Usman was able to control Rocky on the cage for long durations in the first fight and that's Colby's bread and butter (whether or not you think his wrestling is on par with Usman"s).

Second fight Leon clearly leveled up and was the first man to take Usman down, but his growth was over shadowed by the altitude drain. 3rd fight made it clear that Leon successfully closed his wrestling shortfall with excellent defense. Face it, Leon made Usman look ordinary, and that's an incredible accomplishment

It’s great being right; for so long people failed to accept Leon’s skill and ability, they wanted to gate-keep his potential and where he could get to. The altitude played a big part in the first fight, but Leon is an exceptional fighter - his takedown defence tonight was really special. A deserving champion.

I don't believe Leon was being honest with his confidence in the judges. Everyone knows that the judges can rob you even if you dominate the fight and do everything perfectly. I was legit expecting a robbery because of Bisping's commentary, making me think that the judges saw it as a split decision in Usman's favor, it gave me a feeling that Paddy was going to be announced as the winner.

@@Intoboom126 Lightweight division just sucks compared to Welterweight. Lightweight has one dimensional fighters and mostly zero grappling. Who at this division is a great grappler aside from Islam? Welterweight has well rounded killers. Usman, Shavkat, Khamzat, and Colby are elite grapplers. Lightweight does not have guys on that level. If Islam moved up, guys like Usman and Khamzat would kill him. Shavkat would kill him. He would struggle against Colby too.
