To celebrate the upcoming remake of Resident Evil 4, please find attached a Leon Kennedy ASMR roleplay that is almost identical to the previous one I did (which you can watch here: • ASMR Leon Kennedy Resc... ).
However, Leon has graduated from first/last day on the job rookie cop to sarcastic badboy bodyguard as he discovers you whilst searching for the president’s daughter or something I dunno. Anyway, he cleans you up, throws in a few follow the light bits, and otherwise mumbles something about shotguns, zen Buddhism, and zombies. Oh boy, I really hope the remake is goofy. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

The “take my hand” bit was.. Really, really nice. I listen to a LOT of personal attention/reassurance ASMR, and that short section of this horror game roleplay was better at comforting me than a good chunk of those audios. Like, don’t get me wrong, I simp for Leon more than the average person, but it’s less the character and more the sincerity(?) that really hits. You never sound like you’re reading a script. You sound like you’re talking *to me.* Telling me that I’m okay. And you say it in a way that makes me believe you. That’s.. something I’ve needed for a while now. I came here for “heehee handsome video game crush Leon teehee~” nonsense, but left with a new video to fall asleep to every night. (This and your Ghost vids. Obviously.) This was amazing, Jim.
