I've known Leon for more than a year now. His life is a tough one. The recent storms were very worrying as he has little shelter. Many of his possessions were soaked. He constantly battles with unwanted attention from mischief makers, other homeless people and the authorities especially the Melb Council who regularly try to dismantle his camp and tell him he has to move. As Leon says, "move where"? They rip out the edible food he plants in his garden (tomatoes, onion, chilli, garlic). He would rather spend his money on books and a little food than on housing and living costs. And he won't take any charity without giving something to you in return.

Interesting fellow! Maybe it's the education system or something but most people seem too lazy to learn and discuss ideas with others, they have little curiosity towards understanding the world. If education was better maybe people would care less for the rubbish of the media and be more willing to learn about life's wonders and pains.
