+winehousedrunk Yes but it sounds like she's struggling to sing, yes she is amazing and she has changed but her voice has gone down for all the people who knew her from the x factor. This is not a knock against her I think she is a trully fantastic singer even to this day but I think she is struggling , and her voice sounds tired. The voice is a physical instrument that needs to be taken care of and this is her job, it is hard to probably take the time she needs. Yet I hear strain in her voice, and she looks to have some strain in her face as she tries to sing, i think there are a few factors contributing to it. Yet I want to see her not loose her great voice, she has great techniques and has a well developed voice but I can hear it is more then just a change. Is this a big deal no, she is only human, and I will always be her fan, but I do care about her talent that touches so many people and I want to see her continue and grow not blow out because she is worth that and it's her honest kind heart that makes her so special with her voice.

shira tun Well she had truly not much of a break from recording, and when she wasn't recording she was touring, and when she wasn't touring it was another sidekicks - since the moment she won the x factor she's unstoppable. She does need rest but this new era I think will show us the strong Leona. She's still fantastic for singing live even thou she can't give her best. Other singers would just do it with playback/lip sync.

Leona rested for a long time. We have to accept the truth, Leona's voice is completely gone. The nose surgery and improper maintenance of her voice in part due to her management has led to its deterioration. Her voice will never come back and that's the simple truth. I used to cry over how much potential of hers has gone to waste that should have been much more widely realised, but hey, we just have to let go of the past. She's had her time in the limelight and it's come to an end now whether we like it or not. I will always consider Leona's voice, at its best, the best voice that ever existed. She truly moved me and sounded like an angel, genuinely. Now I just replay her old live performances and albums, I haven't even listened to the new album because it hurts deep inside to hear her like that. Still love her nonetheless but I think it's time for her to give up music.

+Aidan I believe she still can sing, but I think she needs to try to get back into good maintenance. I do not think it is over for her, and she has not gone too waste despite the way her voice has turned. It is sad but I still want to see her coming around. I do not believe it is over for her completely , maybe she will never be the singer she was but does not mean she still can't succeed, after all this is her dream not ours.There are many singers who can not sing and still manage to be successful, yes Leona wasn't one of them and it is sad but doesn't mean we should give up on her completely. Music is her life, and no matter how bad her voice got, I would still enjoy seeing her come around live and continue to make music if she can pick up the pieces she still has left.

brittany ritenour Totally agree with you actually. I would love to support her because she's still that genuine, down to earth and sincere person. Although, for me, it hurts too much. I would rather just not listen to her recent stuff because it reminds me of her stardom after x factor and how it vanished. It reminds me of how her live performances used to have people in awe. She can still sing but because she was so good before it's hard to appreciate it anymore. I know other artists still sell who have bad voices but that's because they have more to offer. Leona is not that artist. She is too nice to succeed in the industry and too old school in a sense, not to mention too humble. She wouldn't go to measures to sell sex like other artists do. She doesn't have the personality of artists that draw audiences. She was just the voice and now that it's deteriorated, I can't see anything left for her :((

Yes I know it is hard for me to listen to because I can see her straining, I can see it in her eyes she is struggling, and yes she is not that type of artist she was a true singer, and her singing was her light. Yet I will always support her until she finds her way some how! your right she is no diva by any means, but that was what made her so unique, but unfortunately personality alone does not sell success for her without her voice.
