sexologist is a thing? is that what gets you interviews these days, or in 1988?...and with the likes of Leonard Cohen, the cool cat himself??? This is hilarious. But of course he spoke with his way of elegance, when clearly this woman was demonstrating everything he spoke of, regarding "initiating" the "landscape" for intimacy. Which made me chuckle even more. How easy women became around him in these interviews is quite obvious. Perhaps not a wise "career choice"...poor Leonard, he could have been a fantastic family man, but he clearly didn't choose that life, because of his own perspective of himself. Which also made him attractive. and perhaps this worked for his benefit (???). He never forgot Marianne though. Even through his cold feet when he had the option of marriage. They would have made a wonderful couple indeed. But we would never know his brilliant children either. God knew what He was doing. Leonard just went through the motions. No pun intended. I hope to meet him one day. He was one cool Canadian.
