I was a soldier in a long terrible war. The war was over, and I thought I survived the worst. But I was suddenly diagnosed with brain cancer. Through all these years Leonard’s music offered me spaces for my small retreats. I had two divorces and bunch of other problems. But Mr Cohen always comforted me. I saw him at the very end of his life and off course, he didn’t know why I was crying. Thanks Leonard.

This song was played at the end of the episode of This American Life...:The sun comes up" it sent chills through me. It was the perfect ending to the episode... I had to look it up online to play it over and over.... his voice is beautiful. Its the perfect mix of perfection!! RIP...
