Very nice interview. Would've liked to hear more. Killers of the Flower Moon is all about properly retelling history and performance. Kudos to Martin Scorsese for executing so well such a specific and horrific time in history through his vision of storytelling and in so doing, highlighting that these kinds of things are still happening today. That's high quality art with substance and a message that Hollywood can always use more of to bring awareness to the masses on important relevant issues, past and present. The film is certainly not for the faint of heart. It's not a feelgood movie. Be prepared to learn. Saw it opening night and I do think it has Oscar potential. Great performances by Leo, Lily and Robert. Lily most definitely shines as does Leo in the dichotomy of his role. I believe they'll be nominated for Oscar with the movies that came out in 2023, as will director Martin Scorsese.

Yay! What a fabulous Interview! I really Love these two💝💝. This film is a Class-Act and will no doubt be winning Big Time at the Oscars. Seriously, this is now a Timeless Classic and Martin Scorsese has really created yet another Masterpiece with the help of his very good friends too. I cannot see anyone else getting Best Actor🏆 aside from one of THE Greatest Actors of All time: Leonardo DiCaprio. He is so humble yet truly one of the Forever greats and had no idea he was turning 49! Leo looks so great. His performance in KFM is Explosive and his character has so many facets--one can see the visible sorrow and chaotic shifts to Ernest as he constantly struggles to make heads or tails of what is happening throughout his time as faithful husband of Molly. He truly embodied that character with such amounts of Energy. It was like he was a firework exploding in so many scenes. I literally jumped in surprise in the theatre a couple times😂. I love their courtship. Had to laugh out loud when Ernest says he "likes all colors of women even..blue"? They have great chemistry and the dialogue between Ernest and Molly in Osage language is so quick witted and at a very fast tempo! These two fit together seemlessly and I personally would have thought they might be old friends or colleagues who had worked together before that's how Masterfully Lily Gladstone enters into this Trio of Greats-Scorsese, DiCaprio and De Niro...she just plain GLOWS with this light and clearly becomes the focus of much of the film. Each time you see her she has changed into something else and the guitar score that moves along with Molly is like WOAH! Where did that incredible music come from? I have to stop gushing because this Fan has no end to her L O V E and Adoration for both Leonardo DiCaprio (L O V E Him forever 💝), and Lily Gladstone (Immensely talented!). May your Oscars Season be fruitful and filled with very many Joys...all of them so well deserved 🙏💝🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆💝🙏 ~ Wild Irish Blessings to both of you & Brave Onwards!

And to think Leonardo DiCaprio almost played the prosecutor. It wouldn't have been the same. John Lithgow is so much better. But the Oscar for the one who brought them all together to make this great film goes to Martin Scorsese as Best Director. Robbie Robertson scored this and many films for Mr. Scorsese, which also deserves an Oscar. We lost him last August. I trust he and the Osage in Heaven are basking in the glow of this great film and what it has done for all of us.

Thank You GMA for the great interview of these great actors. This great film will always be remembered like all the films by Martin Scorsese. But this one is more unique because of the terrible tragedy the Osage people suffered. The oppression of Native Americans goes on. The son of Russell Means, Tatanka Means, played a part that was meaningful as it was powerful as an undercover BOI agent. The BOI are to be commended but things changed when they became the FBI and provoked the Pine Ridge firefight. Maybe Mr. Scorsese will consider researching this and obtain the movie rights to bring this tragedy to light, also? Russell Means was rightly exonerated but Leonard Peltier is still imprisoned despite evidence of his innocence. The Academy needs to award Oscars for best picture, director, actor and actress but won't out of prejudice. Marlon Brando and Sacheen Littlefeather eloquently summed this up at the Oscars in 1973. I pray those with the Academy will do the right thing to amend its dark past. God Bless Everyone who was a part of Killers Of The Flower Moon! (cf In The Spirit of Crazy Horse by Peter Matthiessen)

I really prefer true stories and Leo has done a few The Basketball Diaries for instance deserved more recognition also imo. I enjoyed Titanic but not really for the fictional love story of Jack and Rose but the tragedy of the sinking ship the classism lack of preparedness due to arrogance how nonchalant the wealthy are to let the third class die in an emergency etc. Lily adds a authenticity to an Indigenous story I respect that. Scorsese has done other true stories but why does the audience cheer for scoundrels like Jordan Belfort or the Mafia thrives murders etc?

Kind of still says “we can’t cast a full blood native american woman as the beauty one, cause you need to look semi european to be beautiful”. It's important to keep in mind that you don't need to be predominantly U.S. Native American in order to enroll within a tribe. Native American identity is about culture, not about the abstract and bigoted belief of "racial purity". The main actress is half white American but identifies as Native American due to having been raised in a reservation and embracing Native culture.

Leo was masterful at lobbing back every one of Chris' backhanded jabs, turning what some might find to be ever so subtly contentious into a playful dynamic. Being as gifted an actor as he is, his interpersonal skills only seem to improve as he goes. He misses nothing, be it in a scene or an interview. Leo had a big hand in the direction this movie took, encouraging Scorcese away from a narrative that was once again about a white man, and instead telling more of the Osage story, taking at least some responsibility. It still wasn't enough in the eyes of many Osage, but it was a step forward, and Leo advocated for that.
