Leonardo DiCaprio at THE BEACH?! Phi Phi Island Hopping in Thailand Part 2

We did! We visited Maya Bay on Ko Phi Phi Le Island, which is where the movie, "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. It was absolutely beautiful! The sand was softer than any sand we have felt before. The sculpted cliffs are stunning around the crystal-clear water. To top it all off, we even saw baby black-tip sharks. It was amazing!
On our visit to Thailand's Phi Phi Island Private Boat Tour, we also visited Pilen Bay. The colorful cliffs surrounding the clear water are stunning. We captured some unbelievable drone footage of the Thai boats, the picture-perfect water, and the huge cliffs surrounding the lagoon. We had fun swimming, diving, and doing flips.
Monkey Island was the next stop. It was fun to see a bunch of monkeys and several we saw right up close. They were climbing along the cliffs and on the vines.
Then, we ate lunch at the Arida Restaurant on Phi Phi Island. It was a big buffet where we enjoyed some delicious food, including coconut soup, massaman curry, and other Thai dishes. It was an amazing day!

The sand at Maya Beach Caused by coral debris that has been washed by the waves and eroded apart from the wind. until it's detailed, small, soft It is whitesand like powder. And it will always stick to your feet. As for the sea water, it's like a turquoise crystal pool. surrounded by high green mountains to protect add beauty

The Jurassic rocks and waters are more bluish in the Philippines (El Nido, Coron) the beaches seems to be bigger though, the rocks are more weathered, in El Nido it's very sharp, it's amazing the similarity though, the waters would be warmer I assume because of the location of the Philippines, it looks like Philippines without the video title 😁😁and because i've seen it in the Philippines without tourist or people well one or two in fishing boats 😁😁it's a remote place.. Yes The Beach, the movie was filmed in Thailand but the novel of The Beach was in Philippines. I think it is in Palawan and in El Nido?

Alex garland the author of the beach lived in el nido for 6 months and he has explored every islands there. Therevis a real secret beach in el nido but it is hard to get to only strong swimmers can enter the hole of that secret beach.

@@rosebrown2267 for me the best islands in the world is Palawan and Boracay so far. I have been to Thailand, Bangkok and Vietnam only. The beaches in Vietnam are nice but not comparable to Beaches in the Philippines and maybe Thailand too. I have never been to Indonesia and their much touted Bali nor beaches in Thailand so i cannot make a comparison. I liked warm waters and the top 10, 2023 best beaches in the world by trip advisor are a joke, there are none from Asia except India i think.

And known for caves biggest and largest is found in vietnam! And waterfall largest in south east asia and i thnk ban gioc waterfall most beautiful in asia my opinion! No words to describe!.. thailand has only 1,400 islands but thailand is one of the most beautiful island and beaches in the world no doubt thats y they have almost 40 million tourist a year!.. about philippines obviously tons of island more than 7k! When it comes to island and beaches both beautiful philippines and thailand! The difference is thailand is easy to access or to go their island no hustle!in philippines so hard lack of infrastructure very far! There's a lot of island is undeveloped!.. when it comes to island palawan is a bit better than krabi! But krabi more developed than palawan not even close and krabi has a lot to do and to see! In palawan less tourist attraction only swim kayaking island hopping and zip line! In krabi there's a lot many to mention!. For me palawan is boring nothing much to do yes its beautiful but boring!. And palawan so expensive!

@@jeddee3820 please pray and tell what is there to do and see in krabi that is different from El Nido, Coron or in Palawan in general? You mean bars or nightclubs of all persuasions? Prostitutes? Thailand is more popular due to its location, food and due to westerns offering cheap flights going there. I think Thailand is more expensive than the Philippines i think? Not sure though. I know that Vietnam and Indonesia are cheaper than Philippines and i agree that accomodations in the Philippines are on the high side as owners are greedy and pay their employees minimum salaries which sucks. Furthermore Thailand wants to attract high end tourist now and they do not like the hoi polloi and backpackers anymore. I am not into buddhist culture. One day i will visit those famous beaches of Thailand. I prefer Rio de Janeiro if i want to go for hanky panky and not Thailand. Lol
