My least favorite are the 32-bit X3 (PS1/Saturn) and X7. The former is more due to my distaste for the sound direction (this does _not_ apply to the 16-bit version), whereas the latter feels about as well-done as the whole of X6, in addition to having an underwhelming victory theme (almost as if someone just hit random notes on a keyboard). As for the ones I like, those would be X1, 16-bit X3, X5, and X8. I especially like how Zero's X5 victory theme could serve as a victory theme for defeating the final boss.

X8 is impossible to have a distinct ending sound for each character since we must pick 2 out of 6 possible characters. That would be a hassle especially when we choose to play with navigators (oh geez at last we can turn off that pesky Alia)
