I have gotten a few of mine graded, (not by PSA) but mine came back and actually had how they graded them. As in the scores for Edges, surface, corners, and alignment. Which, I think, is better than PSA. Very nice packaging, and quick too. Only a month. It honestly depends on if you don't want your cards damaged, or if you have a favorite card that you played with. @@stanime3065 wouldn't re claim your own insured value on the package if you shipped it this way, which would reimburse you the loss? I'd venture to say so.
@scottbledsoe60422 ай бұрын
@shirothefish9688 not from game stop, as they state the claimed value cap is $200 in their system. And again, they only pay the presumed value of the card, or the insured value, whichever is less.
@scottbledsoe60422 ай бұрын
@stanime3065 when shipping a package you declare your own value for insurance purposes, with no cap. If lost, you do in fact have a claim to be reimbursed for the full amount you claimed.

GameStop needs to sponsor Leonhart after this video series, there is a lot of skepticism in collectors using their grading services but this video helps ease those concerns. Keith is a pro for sure.

As someone just now really getting into pokemon tcg, i wonder why everyone likes PSA so much because every time someone gets a grade back they say "I don't know why it got that grade". I really don't get it.

Because out of all the brands that authenticate cards psa is the best and has been around the longest making it the most trusted
@ThatwasaSTRIKE2 ай бұрын
People use psa because they are most likely looking to flip their cards and any card in a psa 10 gets a big increase in value. That’s why they don’t like anything other than a 10, they are guaranteed to break even or loose money On the flip side, as a collector, I prefer raw cards or cards in a 9 or 8 which sometimes go for really cheap and you don’t have to pay the psa 10 premium
@Jadriandnd2 ай бұрын
@@SupremeWillis I just said why it isn’t the best. The Pokémon community has been mind controlled into thinking it is.
@Jadriandnd2 ай бұрын
Not to mention the countless times I’ve seen people “re-grade” and get better or worse grades. How can they be considered the best if they give the same card different grades consistently? It’s evidence they have no replicable system and they are hand graded.

Keith is a very good sport about the video filming and made it very enjoyable to watch. His customer service and how he articulates his feed back to all your questions are impressive. Gamestop should be very lucky to have Keith. Also idk if it was explained very clearly, but could someone walk in, place a online order for that specific psa card that was at that specific store then just pick it up from that store same day? it seems like Leon was trying to ask that at the very end but I didn't get a clear answer for it it seemed.

Speaking of cringe, ordered some surging sparks from rarecandy because of Leonhart and my experience hasn't been great. No communication since they took my money. The up charges sound like a nasty way to steal valuable cards from poor customers 9:25
@jasonfowler27862 ай бұрын
PSA determines upcharges and that's whether you send them personally or through gamestop. You should know what your expected value is before you ever walk into gamestop
@aaronysaguirre1832 ай бұрын
I really don't think there should be an up-charge , from a $2 dollar card to a $10k card . There are still both made out of cardboard at the end of the day

@@aaronysaguirre183 The upchange is basically insurance if anything happens to your card during shipping. If the insurance upcharge is an issue for you, just do Beckett as they don't require you to pay for insurance but if your card gets lost during shipping then it's on you

@OneTheAndOnlyOne11 күн бұрын
@@aaronysaguirre183 I think the upcharge is because of the insurance for sending it back to the store.. I'm not sure because I'm not from the US (I'm from Europe), but if something is more valuable and you want insurance for it it's more expensive. For example over here the standard insurance is for 0 to 500 Euro and an insurance above that value is way more expensive.
