Welcome back to Vlogmas! We are fully getting in the festive spirit today with a family trip to London! We are off for a traditional mooch around some of the shops, a wonderful family dinner and a trip to the Royal Opera House to watch the Nutcracker Ballet. A trip to the theatre or to a show at this time of year truly puts me in the Christmas Spirit: there’s something about the music, the late night, the Christmas lights that’s just so magical!

Oh I so enjoyed your video. Last year my husband and I were in London to enjoy all the Christmas festivities. We had dinner at Franco’s, Rules, Wilton’s! And Scott’s. I always do a shopping trip to F and M. Our friends took us to dinner at the Wolsey. It was so good. Sadly the Dorchester was not open to have a Tea yet from their remodeling. My dad and I used to go to the Nutcracker too. I loved getting dressed up and having a delicious dinner and after the ballet a fantastic desert. My daddy loved desert. No one had to twist my arm when it came to treats and sweets. Side note: my dad’s job as entertainment & automotive editor of the Beverly Hills Courier, required him to go to the ballet, opera, plays, musicals, etc. and fortunately I was his date. The step monster didn’t want to go. We always had a great time with great conversations that I don’t know I would have had otherwise. Relaxed events allow for amazing conversations. I wish I felt like that with dating back in the day. I would turn into a mute do to nervousness. My mom & dad were excellent eaters and I thought my brother and I would inherit that necessary trait. Yikes! My poor dates. The Royal Opera House is spectacular! Cheers Smee Family!

Leonora I worked for Guerlain in Australia when I was in my early 30's. My Mother & I really liked Shalimar & the beautiful bottle the perfume comes in. I was able to wear all the different Guerlain perfumes when I came to work where I produced the custom documents & shipping information for all the Guerlain perfumes & cosmetics so I learnt to understand French documentation & currency. I could have worked in their Champs Elysses store in Paris but I started working in Advertising & loved that job so much. Loved your shopping vlog & your giggles with your handsome husband at your side. My Mother loved the ballet but I have fond memories of her talking me to concerts in the 70's & 90's.
