Really great work! Why do you use Caran d'Arche to burnish rather than the Faber Castell?

Good question! The caran d'ache have a softer formula, so I like the white caran d'ache better for blending than the polychromos, which has a firmer texture:)

There are many step by step lesson options out there both paid and free. Leontine van vliet has paid long step by step lessons on her patreon. However if you want a free option you can search for: colored pencil realtime lesson. Hope this is helpful!
