Hi Thanks for your question. This Leopard 5 is not a direct model under BYD brand. This Leopard 5 is a model under BYD's Sub-Brand called "FANG CHENG BAO" Which is Leopard in ENG by allegorical translation. They are animal and nature lover for sure lol:)

The German Leopard Tanks in WW2 were formidable. If at all BYD have taken inspiration for this SUV from that name reference, it is pretty apt, I must say. I think it is time the world, especially the traditional European automobile brands, sat up and took notice of the great strides these Chinese EV makers have made.
