I worked in a tire factory in the early 70’s, I wrapped and cut the rubber used for each tire formula we made. I had one of the easier jobs, the ovens we right behind my station and the rubber rolls were made in a lower level. Sometimes I had no material to use so I got to cruise the factory checking out other departments and workers. Was a fun job.

I watch a great deal of these videos! Using Primitive machines, handmade tools. Their production is unbelievable with such tools. I could only imagine what they would do modern machinery. Watch 3 to 4 guys tear down a bulldozer engine in hours. No air tools! Hand tools and cheater bars! They work their asses off. OSHA is nonexistent, exposed feet and hands pouring molten metal? Hard to bitch about my working conditions.
