EXACTLY! :') the amount of people who still don't grasp the concept that leos dont need uvb light, is crazy! I think it mainly comes from people who own reptiles who truly need the uvb light, and they just assume leos need it too.

Leopard Gecko uvb is optional but not bad either way. it does however help with a light/dark cycle indoors, but mainly it assists with D3 so you don't have to worry as much about supplementing it (I still do, but they need less supplements with the light). oddly enough my geckos love to bask in the light, even though the they have 3 hides of different temperatures. I use a bulb that isn't super strong.

temperatures you incubate at also determines color!!! high Temps are brighter colors. and lower Temps are darker colors. that's how you get chocolate albinos which are dark albinos

Stumbling upon this guys videos about boa constrictors made something inside me light up. Then I started looking more and more, and fell in love with geckos. I think I want to start with a crested gecko, and maybe have one or two so my daughter can have one. They are absolutely beautiful.

OK, maybe you can help. T.just bought a leo two weeks ago and still not eating. No to meal worms, crickets. People said she's still getting use to new environment. Her tail is still chubby and runs around. Lots of energy. Please advise.

i watched this video because i accidently bred my geckos. i got them as babies about 5-6 months ago couldnt tell at first who was a what but now my female is laying. I wanna say thanks for helping me know what to do for her eggs. I'm planning to go out and get a new set up within the next week or so i can seperate the boys from the girls cuz I never planned to breed and don't have the space for it

Next week could you do a redux on the bearded dragon video? The leopard geckos have had several episodes dedicated to them, but the bearded dragons have just the one video. In addition, the old bearded dragon video has some dated information. Maybe in the new video you can include tips on breeding, feeding, and morph identification.

The cages for that amount of geckos is tiny.... No way would that be allowed in the UK.... Also my pet leopard gecko Cleo (a normal) weighs about 70 grams and is a female! She isn't chubby and isn't very big lengthwise and she refuses crickets!

no u don't! just put them in a plastic container that's moist and put them in a closet and boom your done until they hatch

Hello, Can you help me with my LG eggs, I'm very new at this. I bought a female LG from a friend who needed money for his wife hospitalization (their having triplets). Anyway, I didn't know the LG was pregnant (per say)... but last month and the month before it laid 4 eggs. how do you prevent mold from growing on the eggs? my LG products its first clutch... 4 eggs total this year. 3 of the eggs developed molds and shriveled and the 4th one did hatch... but only because I checked on it everyday and cleaned it free of molds every 3 days with a cotton bud dipped in anti fungal powder. Now I think my female is gonna lay more eggs in a few weeks, I'm afraid it's going to have eggs that's gonna get eaten by molds again.

It might be the amount of humidity and moisture in the incubator. I'm not 100% sure though. Try lowering the humidity and see what happens.

I have a Female Tremper Albino Leopard Gecko and I've always thought about getting another male to breed, however I don't know if 3 years old is too old to breed or whether the male is biting her for territorial reasons or nipping her before mating. She is 75 grams aswell so an ok breeding weight.

When the male is nipping her tail he is pretty much getting ready to breed, it's not uncommon for lizards to bit their partners for better grip while mating

They usually mature at one year and yeah, I think that 75 grams is a good weight. To see if they're a good size, their tail will usually be the size of your thumb.

I love reptiles and have some friends breeding and selling them. But something i hate when the hobby turns into a bussines is the handling of the animals. It becomes loveless and careless. I know for sure that those animals are healthy and in perfect conditions tho. I think you got my point.
