To be fair, you’re kinda dressed like a larger penguin. I can see why a Lion Seal would attack you. Let’s be honest, the Seal is there to eat, while you’re there to take pictures and the problem is the Seal doesn’t know that.

Meany orcas acctally stay away from leopard seals to not risk petential injurys and insted target seals such as weddell and crabeater seals, crabeater seals beaing the most ubundent out of all seal spices numbering 15 million individuals thats basically half the world wide seals population! As there is a huge endless abundence of krill there making as much as 80% of there diet! Weddell and leopard seals have lower seal populations 800,000 and 350,000, no seals are truly over poppulated in antarctica just in some small arrias such as leopard seals going after fur seals.

lol what? both leopard seals and penguins this far into the antarctic are practically undisturbed by humans and are operating the same way they have done for thousands if not tens of thousands of years. if the leopard seals eat too many penguins, the number of seals will drop in response. classic predator-prey population relationship. no need to change it

Seals have been eating penguins for millions of years. It’s called nature. And the last thing nature needs is humans screwing up yet another ecosystem. There’s a reason why penguins give birth to so many young. It’s the same strategy as turtles. A few weak ones will get eaten. While the strong and successful ones live to mate again. Nature.
