Disappointed by the Yolobox Ultra because it doesn't detect a 1080p signal from my Canon XA75. It is not optimized for the XA line of camcorders. It only detects 720p.

@@dkituyi interesting. Have you tried to contact YoloLiv about this concern? What did they say? What if you send the hdmi output from the camera to an external monitor. And then from the external monitor hdmi output send that to the yolobox? I feel like this might work. Even if you don’t want to use this method. It would be interesting to find out to know if that work around will work.

@LeoPazzo I have had a long discussion with them concerning the same. They also tested and found out that it's true. They said that they are going to optimise it and address the issue. There was a suggestion to use the SDI output from the camcorder then use a converter to HDMI. They said that the latest optimisation might accept 1080p using this method. What I am avoiding is buying extra equipment. But the SDI might be a good alternative because it is even more professional.

@ do you have an external camera monitor that has hdmi input and hdmi output? Have you attempted to try the method I mentioned above? To use the hdmi output from the monitor and send that into the yolobox ultra. I have a feeling this will work. Because the monitor will convert that hdmi signal to a more standard hdmi video signal and you can send that to the ultra.
