I got my Leopold FC900R PD a few weeks ago and it's great. I really like the high-quality finish as well as the MX blue switches. I got hooked so today I got a second mechanical keyboard (albeit not a Leopold) with MX brown switches to use at work.

They just seem to do the simple things well with every board. The media keys/fn layer is a weird thing to mess up, but meh.

I think it was intentional to minimize the look of the keyboard. Personally I prefer the legends but I understand the intent.

I just bought the yellow/blue/white version of this board with clears as well. It's a damn shame that Leopolds aren't stocked in physical stores like Corsair or Razer boards are. They really deserve more attention. Board is fantastic. Just wish it had USB-C but that's my only complaint.

Just out if interest, how do clears compare with browns? Is the bump less noticeable because of the stronger weighting? Is the actuation point nice and close to the bump?

@@xenophiliusrex2501 the clears have a more noticeable bump actually. There are some force curve diagrams where you can compare them. They're basically heavier browns. If you hit the keyboard like a caveman you can go even heavier with greys.

I'm looking to buy a new mechanical keyboard and I narrowed down my choice to these two keyboards: Ducky One 2 mini vs Leopold FC750R. I read some reviews and and people said the Leopold FC750R has better build quality than the mini. The thing is, the 750R and ducky are both the same price but the 750R with the colour scheme I want (all white) is only available in MX silents. From what I remembered from a key switch, it felt mushy like a membrane. But im not so sure on a keyboard, as I have only tried with a key tester. The ducky however is available in both black and white and has all the available key switches. Which do I pick, and are MX silents actually good? thanks in advance.

I have this keyboard in the same color but with MX Silent red. I love it. The dip switches make it possible for me to use with both windows and Mac os. This is one feature I really miss when looking at other keyboards. And one of the reasons I keep returning to Leopold.

Hi! I have one question. This keyboard is the creak color, however on the site it looks more yellow and a “dirtier” color. does it look like that in person or are the photos on the site just not acurate?

@@kato2395 the dip switch just changes the buttons (swapping alt + windows). I think all keyboards work on macOS

@@vaffens yeah they should work, a friend told me leopold just wrote that they are not compatible with both MacOS and Linux to avoid customer service hell. I guess that kinda makes sense?

Hi guys. I have a question if this leopold keyboard, stock keycab emits "purging" noises, is it because of stabilizer? and if so, does the "lube stab" solve the problem, and does it still have a warranty policy?

I got mine the mail this morning and was disappointed to find that they gave me the two tone version instead of the pure white version. Interesting that Mwave also had yours labelled "White" instead of "Two-Tone" on the box (0:14). I don't think I'll ask for return, the creamy beige is kind of growing on me. It's the best stock keyboard I own and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on it. Typing on silent reds is pure joy for me :)

Im owning a board with MX browns which I like but wanting to try some linears now, and I find MX reds rather...lighter than browns (which I dont want). Wondering if Blacks feels the same as browns in weights. Thanks!

I'm really tempted to buy one of these and swap some BOX Navies into it. The keycaps are really nice, it has genuine Cherry stabilizers (AFAIK), and the chassis is sturdy, too. As an added bonus, the switches mount south-facing, so Cherry profile is no problem. Of course, it better not be an issue seeing how the stock caps are Cherry profile, or close to it.

Yes just a little bit, like it stayed a bit somewhere sunny making the plastic losing a pure white aspect, it is more close to a subtle effect than something that really turned yellow like you know the old plastic that was prone to that.

If you give it sufficient time the key switches will wear in. A broken in brown switch keyboard feels heavenly.

Jacques Andre if browns are too light for you this board with clears is fantastic. The build quality is perfect, keycaps are really nice, worth as much as the board costs. It’s a workhorse.
