Great music by Mozart Senior Leopold ‘s music is a joy on the ears and foot tapping, but he stayed put with what he knew. Whereas his son had the ability to embrace what was to come and development of early romantic style, carried on by Beethoven. My own ideas on the Mozart’s and music with Haydn too the symphony was developing faster than Leopold could possibly imagine?❤

A sinfonia of my favorite Leopold Mozart, this song is a sound source that has never been in my collection so far, and I am very grateful to add it to my playlist. This music has the characteristics of Leopold Mozart well, and the 1st and 3rd movements are very gorgeous and reminiscent of the masterpiece serenade in D major, with timpani and trumpet ringing. 2nd movement I think that the melody with humor is the music that no one can draw except Leopold Mozart because of his style. In any case, thanks to Pau NG, I am glad that you provided a new masterpiece of Leopold Mozart's unknown.

I love his serenade in D. Very exciting , emotionally associated with his son's work. Must have been a very late work.

There would be no Mozart as we know him today without the wonderful guidance of his father. Very enjoyable! 💖

The father was great for teaching the basics, but otherwise was a repressive and backward influence; this was evident as early as 1764/65 in London where JC Bach’s breath of fresh air invigorated Wolfgang with an impact - musically - his father never had, an impact which lasted long and always retained a special place in Mozart’s memory.

Thank you Pau NG, Leopold was a solid composer, today it is poorly known. In earlier centuries was common: The purpose of Leopold Mozart's trip to London in 1764 was to present his gifted children at court and private concerts and to "reap" financial gain. L. Mozart: "Over the next few months, I will have to make every effort to conquer the aristocracy, and this will require a lot of galloping and hard work. But if I achieve the goal I set for myself, I will catch a fine fish or, better said, a good catch of guinea. "To increase his earnings, he used the guest appearance of the famous castrate Manzoli - in Handel's operas:" Ezio "," Berenice "; "- so Leopold's children performed after private castrato concerts in the houses of aristocrats and merchants. There Amadeus also heard Arne's" Artaxerxes "and wrote his first opera aria based on that pattern:" Conservati fedele "(1765).

Almost an "Haydnian" piece (military trunpets usw?)
@elaineblackhurst1509 Жыл бұрын
The correct adjective in English is ‘Haydnesque’, though anything by Leopold elevated to this status would be a rare honour.

@@elaineblackhurst1509This piece doesn’t even come close to Haydn on a bad day.
