I love the first hat !! I am not a hat girl, but I think you can take the stitch to make a really cute tote bag. EDIT : or a Headband !! I think I would use that stitch to make me a headband !! I have found the Automn Rhapsody last week, and I fell in love with it too.

Lol, I'm definitely not inspired to pick up my hooks again, (I'm crocheted out, and accepting that, and have decided to put them away until probably the end of the year,) but I do love the idea of the garland. I had an idea to do that, but Christmas themed. Maybe next year, I'll think up some ideas for stuff like that. I also like the cardigan ideas. Lol, I should finally go back and finish the sweater I started for myself a few years back. But yeah, taking a few months off, and I'm enjoying writing again. I outlined a novel I want to write a few months ago, and it wound up at 19 chapters, so I'm seeing if I can write the first rough draft of it through this month. Here's hoping I succeed!

It's pronounced "hoo-gah" or "hue-gah" but don't put too much stress on the "hue". I listened to an audiobook about it (yes, there's a book and I read it) and I also watch Diane in Denmark here on KZbin who talks about it. That's ok, when I first encountered the word a few years ago, I wondered "what on earth is this 'hi-gee'"? :) I love the acorns (we have an oak tree out front with lots of squirrels), the pumpkins of which I started making last year in a similar pattern and they're so cute, the pencil is adorable, the pillows, the headband, the wreath is so cute, the blankets are lovely - ok, now I'm naming off nearly everything! It's all so cute and hard to pick a favorite.

Those are all so beautiful! But I really love the gourds and pumpkins, I have a small collection of pumpkins I switch around all year long in my hall way display. I have the standard colors of natural to more fantasy colors of silver and blues. but I have never seen the gourds in crochet! I am super excited to make a couple.

You're in NC?? So are we! We moved here in 2021 (Raleigh area) from Southern California and it has been the BEST!! I am obsessed with the weather here! All of the seasons!! I. Southern California, we do t get any seasons. Just hot and way too hot. This will be my 3rd Fall season here and I still can't get over how beautiful it is. I drive a lot for work and even yesterday I was taking a video of just how beautiful it was with all the green trees and rolling green fields ( I was out in Graham). I always fought my SO on moving further into the "country". He has always wanted to get out of the city (he's born and raised here so he's all super used to it) and I always swore I'd be a city girl for life. UNTIL I moved here! It took me a bit to get used to all the sounds that weren't manmade like sirens and planes lol but now that im (almost) used to it, I want to get as far into the country as possible (as long as it's within 10-15 min of a target lol. Anyway, I'm just barely starting to dip my pinky toe into crochet and I've been binging your videos! Can't wait to be able to sit down and start a project!

All of these patterns are amazing! One thing I was thinking while watching this video is that I would love a video teaching the differences between yarn materials (acrylic, cotton, etc.) and what types of projects they’re best for! As a beginner, I always have to rely on the yarn recommendations that come with patterns and it would be cool to learn how to slightly change the look of projects with yarn type! 🧶

I worked with the furl yarn on a large cardigan. Never again. It would fry while I was working with it and was knotted together in a lot of spots. Colors are gorgeous though.

As someone who has made 10 (+a baby size) of the cardigan from hayhaycrochet i can highly recommend the pattern. Ive made them in loads of different colours and its a really simple pattern to change the length just by adding more squares to the bottom. The video is really clear too especially when it comes to doing the cuffs on the sleeves.
