I wish I had had Crochet You when my child was a child. As she went through her therapies and surgeries, it would have been nice to have made this doll. As it was, we adapted a commerical doll that had her issues. It worked, but the crochet one would have been more personal.

I’m a lawyer by day and finding crochet has been such a joy for me, because it helps me to unwind and “zone out.” My eldest leaves for college this fall and I want to make him a blanket with the college logo on it. I received Amigurumi Treasures and starting Ming the Kitten. Just to try out the yarn used DMC Natura Just Cotton I thought I would do an early review of the yarn, if you haven’t tried this brand yet. It is soft on the hands and slides over the hook nicely. It does have a tendency to split but, to my surprise, it didn’t bother me yet!. It has good stitch definition. Let me know if you have tried this yarn and what do you think about it. Love the colors. What yarn would you use for these adorable patterns? 🧶

I'm loving and marathoning your channel. I started learning crochet with my grandmother, but unfortunately she passed away before I could learn enough, and none of her daughters learned from her, they were never interested. I ended up stopping because I didn't have anyone to teach me, then I was too busy with med school and life in general... With the pandemic I was feeling stressed and overwhelmed and I started “learning” with tutorials on KZbin and I fell in love with crochet and felt closer to my grandmother… I moved countries, came to Ireland and started my life over from scratch here, and now I'm in love with amigurumi, I want to buy everything and try everything, it's so beautiful... unfortunately I have difficulty finding yarn here, because it's not the same brands as in my country and there isn't a haberdashery on every corner like I'm used to, so I have to buy little by little online and test the yarns until I find the ideal one. Thank you for your videos 😊

Proceeds will go to help him out during the year. there is a 15.5” bunny, a set of tier tray deco for Easter (a peeps and a carrot with safety eyes, Easter basket with 3 micro), two large life size eggs and finally ya can’t go to the races without your snack money, so I Crocheted a black and white money pouch with a racing flag button. Hi Elise! I remember you doing a video on how people had tips for crocheting, and one was to use either a half size bigger hook to a full size bigger hook when starting a blanket. Well, I just discovered that that technique also works when starting amigurumi projects as well. It doesn’t change the size of your projects, it just makes it easier getting the size hook you need to use for your project into that first stitch, for that stitch can be a bit tricky to get your hook into. Just an idea 💡 😊!

I get really excited when I see so many cute toys🤩 I have a polushka bunny crochet book that I have in the queue to make this year. I still am not up to the skill level for dot pebbles knit patterns but I think they are so cute 🥰 thanks for another great video and have a great weekend…. Karen from Greenleaf, Idaho 🧶☺️

Great video! Claire Garland is probably my all-time favorite! I bought the Beatrix Potter book about a month ago and ordered all the yarn to make all the characters! I’m currently working on another one of her patterns, the little 🐸 I think I’d like to try the micro knitting! So many cute patterns, so little time ❤

OMGosh More books to buy! I had to keep glancing at my books to see what I already had lol, not to many that you listed unfortunately. But WOW, what a awesome new book collection! Even though I am just starting to relearn to knit I want all the knit books, they all really caught my eye especially Peter Rabbit. And the book with all the different special children I am blown away by, I am so glad that so many designers are starting to design for all types of people. But what a wonderful way to show a child, that they have a doll just like them, or even a special friend! Thank you as always for your great information!

Lovely video. Beautiful books that I will make every effort to avoid, as I have been decluttering my condo. SO tempting, though! I want my daughter to have few things to go through, because I will have gone through them, myself. At 81, I recognize that I will not complete my already long list of projects, so choosing more would stress me out. I can dream, though!🥰

Hi Elise! These are beautiful books. I don't knit, wellll, nothing more than a square lol but those books are just beautiful. Love the reviews. I just purchased your not so little pigs pattern from Etsy, just waiting on my hands a wrists to hopefully start feeling better soon. I'm being optimistic...Lord willing. Thank you again.
