You are so funny! When you said the monster could go under the Xmess tree, I immediately thought of adding hangers to the eyes and putting them on the tree. Then making more eyes and hanging those on the tree. Then more eyes. Only eyes. Fantastic.

Yesssssss! Do it!! It would be a show stopper for sure. You could leave it up all year and change the eye colors for the seasons. Pastels in the spring, red and green for Christmas, oranges and browns for thanksgiving. Truly, you would be the talk of all the town. 😜💗👀and it would be worth it. 🤣😉

I asked AI to write a fairy crochet pattern. Here is what it wrote. I'm not able to see if it will work or not ... Written by AI Cute Amigurumi Fairy Pattern Materials: Yarn in skin color, dress color, wing color, hair color, and a shimmering or sparkly yarn for magical details. Crochet hook suitable for your yarn size, typically 3.5mm for amigurumi. Safety eyes (8mm). Black or pink embroidery thread or yarn for the mouth. Fiberfill stuffing. Yarn needle. Stitch marker. Optional: Small bead or charm for the fairy wand. Abbreviations: ch = chain sc = single crochet inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch) dec = decrease (sc two stitches together) st(s) = stitch(es) hdc = half double crochet dc = double crochet sl st = slip stitch Pattern: Head (Skin Color): R1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6 sts). R2: inc in each st around (12 sts). R3: [1 sc, inc] x 6 (18 sts). R4: [2 sc, inc] x 6 (24 sts). R5-R8: sc around (24 sts). R9: [2 sc, dec] x 6 (18 sts). R10: [1 sc, dec] x 6 (12 sts). Start stuffing the head. R11: dec x 6 (6 sts). Finish off. Body (Dress Color): R1: 6 sc in a magic circle (6 sts). R2: inc in each st around (12 sts). R3: [1 sc, inc] x 6 (18 sts). R4-R7: sc around (18 sts). R8: [1 sc, dec] x 6 (12 sts). R9: sc around (12 sts). Start stuffing the body. Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Arms (Skin Color, Make 2): R1: 4 sc in a magic circle (4 sts). R2-R4: sc around (4 sts). Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Wings (Wing Color and Sparkly Yarn): Chain 12, join with a sl st to form a ring. In the ring: (ch 3, dc, ch 3, sl st) x 6. This will give the wings a delicate, webbed look. Finish off. Hair (Hair Color): Cut lengths of yarn about 10 inches long. Take a strand, fold in half, and hook through a stitch on the head. Pull the yarn tails through the loop, and tighten. Continue this method until you have a full head of hair. Trim or style as desired. Wand (Sparkly Yarn): Ch 10. Finish off. Attach a small bead or charm to the tip to represent the magic orb. Face: Place safety eyes between R6 and R7, about 6 stitches apart. Stitch a cute smile with the embroidery thread or yarn. Assembly: Attach the head to the body. Sew the arms to each side of the body. Attach the wings to the back of the body. Arrange and secure the hair on the head. If desired, sew the wand to one of the fairy's hands. This amigurumi fairy is sure to spread a sprinkle of magic wherever she goes! Enjoy your crafting adventure.

My cousin has an artificial eye. When she was young she would pop it out to see if we would freak out. I wasn’t fazed. 😅

My mom has to take hers out occasionally but it’s rare. I never touch them. Never. For some reason, I just can’t. They don’t disgust me but I ain’t touching them. 🤣😂

Hello I’m new to your channel and I really am enjoying it. I have a question and wonder if you can help. I am making the whale from pica pau 3 like you made and I am struggling with keeping the colors from leaning is the best description I can think of. The white is coming up to the top of the head and the blue from the top is going down on the right side. Is there a way to prevent this that I’m missing. I’m following the pattern exactly but on the left side the white is more visible on the top of the whales head. I’m probably not making sense so it’s ok if you don’t understand just struggling with this

Yes, that trust drove me crazy too. Mine is still there, if I were to do the pattern again, I’d adjust the stitches to where it was more even. But to help it this time I just surfaced crocheted on top of the color change. The twist is still there, but it did help a tad. If I just don’t look at it straight on I’m happy. lol thank you for being here! ❤️❤️

@@therumimillcrochet I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one . I started adjusting my stitches and that has helped also I went back and read in the book where she said this would happen. I thought maybe there was trick to keep this from happening but so far I’ve just eye balled it

@@tinanix7924 nope. Not just you. Glad you figured out how to adjust your stitches to help correct the twist.

Don't forget the tea pot covers. Or was this just an Australian thing?
@therumimillcrochet Жыл бұрын
No teapot covers in our family, hot tea wasn’t big in our house. But I know some friends that did. Here in the south it was dolls and doily’s….doily’s were everywhere!! 😁

I still love teapot covers, but don't own a teapot. Explain that one. I have a whistling teakettle, but it is placed on burner on stove to heat water. Can't put a cover on that...fire!
