I'm a hard rock guy, but love this, she is awesome and the music is eerie cool. Like The a Wreck of The Edmunds Fitzgerald or Chris Isaacs Wicked Game. I hope she has a wonderful music career and stays away from the pop crap. Stay true the the music and yourself honey!!!

This is one of the best original songs I’ve heard in a long time. These lyrics are incredibly articulate and cohesive yet beautifully poetic and incredible use of metaphors that don’t sound like they’re trying too hard. They’re just honestly raw and deep. And those Melodies carry me to painful places that I don’t mind visiting for some reason. Thank you so much for your music lera. You are an incredible talent and I feel very fortunate to know your music.

I wanna miss you, lonely as the desert sand; Sparkle like a star, stranger in a faraway land. Pockets tie his hands up, feet stuck right where he stands, Divide grows wide ‘tween work and the wants of a man. One hand holds the pulse, the other a steerin’ wheel, On one hand it is his curse, on the other it’s what is real. I shine bright like the wide, wide world when you’re standing on the moon, she could be just any girl. Your hands are tied, but your heart is free. If you learn to cut the rope, please make your way to me. I wanna show you, lover take my hand. You can find satisfaction being a one woman man. I wanna love you. I don’t know where I stand, between your heart, the road, and all of the needs of a man. When you hang your hat on her, will you hang your head in shame? When you say that it’s impossible, you’re just runnin’ away from the thing that kept you tied down, the thing that keeps your feet on the ground. I shine bright like the wide, wide world when you’re standing on the moon, she could be just any girl. Your hands are tied, but your heart is free. If you learn to cut the rope, please make your way to me. If you learn to cut the rope, please make your way to me.

For me, this songs represents the need of a person to have the company of a man she can't have, because he's married (on one hand it is his curse on the other it's what is real), but she's open to the possibility of having him if he's heart is free. What else do you see on this song?.

I hope you start getting more attention, Lera! You certainly deserve it! First heard on the True Detective Season 2 trailer - "The Only Thing Worth Fighting For". Took my breath away. I listened to that 1 min clip about a hundred times before I found the full song.
