This is one of the best original songs I’ve heard in a long time. These lyrics are incredibly articulate and cohesive yet beautifully poetic and incredible use of metaphors that don’t sound like they’re trying too hard. They’re just honestly raw and deep. And those Melodies carry me to painful places that I don’t mind visiting for some reason. Thank you so much for your music lera. I just love this song. I think she is so very talented. Her lyrics, her phrasing, her guitar playing, not to mention the quality of her voice and all the emotion that comes through. All A+, IMO. I hope you start getting more attention, Lera! You certainly deserve it! First heard on the True Detective Season 2 trailer - "The Only Thing Worth Fighting For". Took my breath away. I listened to that 1 min clip about a hundred times before I found the full song.
