This is one of the best original songs I’ve heard in a long time. These lyrics are incredibly articulate and cohesive yet beautifully poetic and incredible use of metaphors that don’t sound like they’re trying too hard. They’re just honestly raw and deep. I just love this song. I think she is so very talented. Her lyrics, her phrasing, her guitar playing, not to mention the quality of her voice and all the emotion that comes through. All A+, IMO.
