@@boynton20 the people and the government have what they want. I am born, raised and currently living in Haiti, all I can tell you is that we are reluctant to change, we talk the talk but we don’t walk the walk.

@@boynton20 Again, we don't want change. If we wanted something different, we (the people), would show that during the elections or simply by rising up like you mentioned. "Le hasard n'existe pas", the people have the government that they deserve. If we wanted change, we wouldn't need a government to express that, we would clearly see that everywhere in the country. For instance, we are poor, there's not a lot of job, there's a lot of trash, who's taking that as an opportunity? We need a government for that? We need a government to tell us to plant what we eat such as avocados, mangoes, papayas, ect.? We need a government to tell us to have a business of chicken and eggs ? We need a government to tell us that the people with money are not the enemy ? We need a government to tell us not to follow everything that the priest or pastors dictates? We need a government to tell us how to use the internet to build our intelligence and creativity? We need a government to unite us so that we can defend our community against gangs? I guess it was a government that told us we should no longer be slaves. It's easy to point fingers at the government without understanding that the government is a direct representation of who we are !!! A lot of diaspora are showing their intelligence by giving brilliant ideas, they talk the talk, is that what we need? Maybe that's the problem, we choose leaders that talk the talk but can't walk the walk.
