With Eroy it isn’t as easy and direct to just turn up the power. With turbos they can just turn it up some and be ok. Especially since it isn’t like they’re in a limited class with rules they have to follow.

@@NBSV1 yeah but when they were in the years ago the guy said it takes 500 or 600 hp to overpower the aero issue so a car in the same class can run a same time with 600 less horsepower never going to be able to compete with that.. really the only chances of a win is beating them on the tree and hope they don't make a clean a to b pass..

@@freedomfox8183 That's for sustained top speed. Aero still matters, but it's less important with most drag racing. Much of it is decided in the 1/8th. If you can get quicker off the line and through that first bit then being a little slower on the top end isn't a big deal. Unless the better aero makes more downforce it wouldn't be worth more than a few tenths. Which doesn't really matter in the type of racing they do since the runs aren't super consistent and often the difference in winning and losing is a half second or more. That's why stuff like shoebox chevys and other brick shaped vehicles can still be very quick.

If you want a big advantage over the others in the reverse race modify your diff and turn it upside down.........then you will have 1 forward gear and 4 or 5 gears in reverse depending on the gearbox that you use
