Yeah I realized that later but it was too late to change it. Pou de bois. My apologies. There’s actually an entire conte, Pou pis Puce, that I’ve narrated in both Missouri French and English, so I know the term.

@@ChansonsDzuPaysDesIllinoues "Ma Petite puce" ou "mon petit lapin" sont des noms affectifs ...c'est de cette facon que j'appelle ma femme (puce) et mon fils (lapin) .en Francais standard...aussi tres courants est "poullette"
