The new Folie Douce is INSANE! I think its probably the best bar I've been to anywhere, not just on the slopes. It makes the one in Val Thorens look like a roadside truck stop.

Excellent and informative video. Been to Les Arcs and La Plagne at least 5 times over the years, recently mostly at Easter to allow the grandchildren to join us, but we have always had good snow this late in the season. I should be getting a lift pass for 10Euro this year as I've hit 75. Great variation in pistes and plenty of room. Thoroughly recommend! We have missed the last two years dreadfully. Great to get back on the piste!

Watching this video made me wonder if i made a mistake! My friends and I reserved the hotel at bough saint maurice which is just below arc 1600. We wont be able to ski in ski out but it was a lot cheaper!

Hi Tomas, well, it's about the same value deal. for ski in ski out we have to pay. I hope for you that the new funicular to 1600 will be faster. If you love apres ski, you can stay later( compare to arc 2000 and 1950) at Folie douce etc' and ski down to the funicular station⛷🎧🍻 have fun at Bourg Saint Maurice and Les Arcs

Great skiing but 2000 felt a bit soul less and the large complex was very strange. I'd go to any of the others if I go again.

For snowboard i disagree, a good spot : few large plane slope for riding (only at arc 2000 that isn’t a good resort, better 1800 for the resort). Or you should put 10 for snowboard for La plagne, Courchevel, Avoriaz and all others..

one stop rip of ie frances have work in the french alps i now live over the east in austria the ski is better the snow is more clear there with 5 all year ski resorts prices are half of the french the mottorway is free and then 10 euros in austria for the week of the same distances with out man made ski resorts with a cheep fast road and rail accces to most resorts dump the french this idea austria is low is bullshit i ski all year round in tux area

the skiing at this resort is wide and varied an excellent. huge too. BUT.... that architecture. man oh man ! its just soul destroying. designed by moronic architects in the 60's trying to be different and futuristic, and applauded by all and lauded no doubt by many as geniuses and ahead of thier times... its just so horrible. its a blight on humanity ! it takes so much away having to look at these monstrosities EVERY SINGLE RUN you come down to catch the lift ! Pity, b/c the skiiing is so good. La Plagne is just as bad or worse. ie Bellecote disaster and Plagne central. can you get worse design. like 1950's Eastern bloc communist design. good god !
