Sick video, i really enjoyed watching this! I go to Les Arcs every January! Arc 1950 is by far the best imo. I've been to all major ski resorts, and none of them ticks all boxes like Paradiski does. It's cool that you do this with your family. My dad learnt how to ski at 60 and now he's obsessed. PS: the reason you walked to Villaroger is because Rhonaz(button lift) operates only if Lanchettes is closed, so that the Villaroger guys can access their accommodation.

I love skiing with the family, amazing that your dad learnt to ski at 60 - inspired! Thanks for the heads up on Rhonaz - we knew this when setting off but went for the adventure anyways. I have just a little question : how much time can you rest in la plagne (like to don t be stuck in la plagne) cuz i am going in les arcs and i would like to go in la plagne (the live 3000/le tunnel slope) and i just don t know how much time it take to go from centre of la plagne to the vanoise (and to don t be in the last vanoise cuz i am in arcs 2000 ...) if you have any idea, thank u

Hey! You can certainly do this in a day. Set off early and make your way directly to the Vanoise. The key is to plan the route there and back! Time will always depend on weather conditions, peak vs off peak season, and ski ability but as a general rule I have always been able to make it across the cable car (from either side) and get in a couple of runs before a lunch stop. Then I find I can do another few runs in the other resort before making my way back. As a general rule expect the lift queue on the way home to take longer than expected (maybe as long as 60 mins during peak season). Top advice here is to check interactive piste maps to show the busyness of them. Fortunately, as you’re coming from the Les arcs side there is a ski bus that runs after the lifts close. So you can literally take the last vanoise express from the La Plagne side and then simply take the bus back to arc 2000 if you really wanted to maximise your time.
