Gifted, special, unique, legend. All these words describe Les Dawson. Talented is hardly good enough to describe Les. He was light years ahead of the comedians today. No smut, no filth, just perfectly timed wonderful comic creations that Les wrote himself. The very very best. Loved in the UK by the people. The peoples comedian. 28 years on, and he is as funny now as he ever was. RIP Les, wife Meg, and Roy Barraclough. All in Heaven now, amusing the angels.

One of the greatest comics Britain has ever produced. This man was hugely talented and put a smile on so many people's faces. He's certainly up there with Howerd, Allen, Emery, Carrott, Kay, Connolly, McIntyre, Hancock, Vegas, Morecambe and Wise, O' Briain, Evans, The Two Ronnies, all of them. Although he's gone, he's never forgotten Thanks for the entertainment Les ❤ 😊

I always found the idea of a squirrel funny. Like if you say someone was attacked by a cat or mouse or any other animal it’s not funny but somehow a squirrel makes it funny. I once heard that words and letters that draw your mouth into a smile position are more funny. The letter K for example.

Oh look, another "Let's shit on something modern" post. Do you not have the emotional maturity to just say you like something without simultaneously having to insult something else? You appear to have missed the fact that humour is subjective, so I'm not surprise that you're so insecure in your own opinions.
