THIS CHANNEL:
_________________________________________________________
The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

Sorry I missed the live feed. I believe the word for the two artillery wagons is called the caisson.... The caisson is Civil War era, but I believe they were used through WW1. The Army inserted the caisson in their fight song. "Over hill over dale as we hit the dusty trail and the caissons go rolling along.....". Cannons did accompany the wagons. Poor mules and horses as they were pulled them from one battle to another. Ron, Thank you for daring to go where nobody would do so on a day like this!

Hey there! Just did the “walk” two months late. Did a quick scan of comments and didn’t see these fact checkers so I thought I’d share. 1.Neil Diamond is suffering from Parkinson’s disease, not dementia. 2. Gloria Estafan’s husband Emilio, is still alive. There was an article on Google addressing the death reports. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and this “talk” brought back so many memories, some so bittersweet. I still listen to all that music. I especially loved the women lead singers with strong rock n roll voices like Heart, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, and Grace Slick.

Cool cemetery; and yes your face is pinkish. Fond memories of great musicians and music. If you make it back to Dallas, there's a quaint very little cemetery just south of downtown in Duncanville; it's at 1803 Cedar Hill Rd. The Little Bethel Memorial Park. Whenever I go into Duncanville, I love driving by. It's open 24/7. There's a massive grave marker at the back; it's an open hand facing up towards heaven. I've never gone in, but it's always intrigued me. Thanks for braving the weather to bring us along🙋‍♀️👍
