Jeff Beck played a Gibson Les Paul for a long time in the '70s, and this video everytime makes me laugh. He just appears grinning from the shadow with a Fender Strat in front of the creator of Les Paul (and solid body guitars in general). He also make him see how well the vibrato bar works. If you don't know, vibrato bar was a Leo Fender's invention.The bridge has an hole in the guitar body and allows to make extreme vibratoes, instead of the Gibson's bar that permits only a little one. That is the reason why Les Paul jokingly tries to take the jack off his guitar while Jeff demonstrates the superiority of his guitar.
