Lots done. I'm with you on the width as you go up the neck, nothing worse than falling off the side. I reckon the guide wheels are not quite as wide as the cutters; it happened to me as I hadn't seen the tape trick when I first tried the method you do for neck sockets. Looking forward to seeing the front carve. Your laser is very versatile.

Those ones are spot on, they're radian bits. I had the problem before though when I bought the bits and bearings separate, disaster lol.

What, you didn't use bondo to make the neck pocket template!?!? 🤣 I know you've said it before but I wasn't paying attention, what make/model is your laser engraver? How about a highland cow head inlay at the twelfth fret.

Contiboard for the base works well then crappy redwood strips for the runners. Or linear bearings if you're feeling richer lol
